The people of the Bundjalung nation are the traditional custodians of the land on which it stands. We welcome festival and event campers to the Mullumbimby Showground. The Showground is nestled under the gaze of the majestic Mount Chincogan and is 1.3 km west of Mullumbimby's vibrant town centre. The grounds are open to the public for recreation and enjoyment. Enjoy the beautiful facilities and welcoming vibes at the Mullum Showgrounds. The campground offers spacious powered and unpowered campsites. With our refurbished amenities building, you can be assured of a comfortable stay. The Showgrounds hosts the weekly North Byron Farmers Market on Friday mornings where you can easily stroll over to buy farm fresh produce, breakfast and coffee. We are a 1.3km walk away from Mullumbimby town centre with a range of cafes and eatery's, two supermarkets, banks and other services and retail shops. It is about a 15 minute drive to Brunswick Heads with its beautiful river, estuary and beaches, and about 30 minutes to Byron Bay. The Showground hosts a number of events throughout the year. Some of these are events are ticketed and therefore the Showgrounds is closed to all but ticketholders. See our 'What's On' page on our website for more information. The Food Hall and stunning grounds can be hired for events, weddings, exhibitions and festivals.

There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. Firewood is available on site $15/bag. We do have a bathtubes on three sites. Campers should leave no trace. We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

Near all the Byron incredible activities, such as great restaurants, waterfalls, beaches. Well positioned between the beaches of Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. Incredible privacy and quiet. There are few goats roaming around the property, and a horse paddock with a couple of horses nearby. It is a former cattle farm that is being currently reforested to the original Big Scrub rainforest. The proceeds from Hipcamp are used to reforest the land :) We have 10 different sites, 6 for caravan / RVs and 4 for tents only in two different spots of the property - for a total of 20 guests max. PLEASE make sure to pack out your garbage. You can enjoy walking around and explore the magic sunsets of the Byron Hinterland, or go for a dip in the big waterhole. Please note - for now the property is for fully contained campers only (no toilets on site). We do have a water tap though to fill your tanks and a couple of electric plugs to charge your essentials.

Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No antisocial behavior. No camping on creek banks. No playing around toilet block area. No livestock to be kept on the park. No cutting down trees. No person to travel in the load area of vehicles. No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between your campsite and the road. No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones or fireworks allowed in the park. No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek. No washing dishes or clothing in creek. No hitting of Golf balls. No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok). No swings to be tied to trees. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park.
