This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community.
It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night.
The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead.
There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company.

Located in the hamlet of Mosborough on 113 acres, this is a working farm with open fields, an old orchard, and 27 acres of forest.
We are a short drive to Guelph Lake, the Elora Gorge, Guelph to Goderich rail trail, and a 25-minute drive to St Jacob's farmers market. And a 1.4 km walk to a small country market and bakery. A great site for families that you can call home and plan day trips around the area, or hang out at the campsite. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.
We have 3 campsites that are spread out on 4 acres of grass. 1 site is used for temporary summer trailers, 2 are for camping. Pets are welcome, but keep them on a leash. Please remember to remove all garbage and recycling from campsites, a compost bin is available on site by the garden.
A portable toilet is available from May 15 to the end of thanksgiving weekend in October. And please note that we are located beside an active rail line that is used by the Go Train, VIA Rail and freighters, there are trains that pass throughout the night.
A 2 night stay is required for summer weekends.

Willow Lane Farm is a Heritage Breed Poultry farm that runs a
small rescue/sanctuary for livestock.
The Main farm is situated on 60 acres which backs onto crown land.

Welcome to our family-friendly farm! We are open year-round and are located in Hanmer, Ontario in the Greater Sudbury area. While staying with us, we encourage you to take a farm tour, try the petting zoo or enjoy the scenery.
With over 60 acres of farmland, our private and secluded campsites are level and are ideal for any type of camping, from tents to large RVs and everything in between, we can accommodate anyone looking to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The property offers flat farm fields that back onto wooded areas with a river, pond, and nearby hiking trails!
A firepit is provided (Firewood available to purchase) and if you are planning on cooking we have pots and pans upon request. If you need water please feel free to fill up at the house. We also have an outhouse on site.
30 lakes are within a half-hour drive, great for fishing! Sudbury is in a crater, so there are lots of interesting rocks to see if geology interests you. We also have many trail plans for ATV and snow machines (permits required). Seasonal blueberry picking is also available on-site. We are only 10 minutes away from the Train Museum, a must-see while in the area!
Pets are always welcome, as are riders and their mounts.

We also sell other local products. We let campers stay in our parking lot where they can enjoy a beautiful sunset and many hiking trail just minutes away from us.
We now have a bathroom available to you outside of store hours. Please note we are on a septic field system and no sanitary items, food or grease should go down the toilet or sink. Please do not wash your dishes in our bathroom. Please do not dispose your garbage in the bathroom garbage.

Campers can walk down to the river and maybe see a beaver hard at work. Campers will not be allowed to walk to the farm as insurance won't allow us to host campers when we do. Please do not drive around the building or pitch a tent on our septic field. There is a black mailbox by the front doors where we will put a welcome package for you. This has a map and websites of hiking trails and other businesses in the area . There is a lake about 12 min drive from us with a nice beach. We will provide a pick nick table, unless other campers are using it. A short walk from us is a small Catholic country church, and you can walk to the Slate River Bridge on Hwy 608 and on Hwy 61.

Entirely surrounded by nature, beautiful and peaceful. A place to let go and just be. The camp sites are located with 160 acres in the middle of the forest. There is no traffic, no motor boats, no sea-doo's, no lawn mowers, just nature. The sound of the birds and the sound of silence is all you can hear.
The campsites are spacious and tucked within the trees. Not entirely private, but private enough. There are more than 2 campsites available. All are by the swimming pool, sauna and summer kitchen area.
The pool area consists of a wood burning sauna for enjoyment and washing up, a fire pit for socializing and cooking, propane or charcoal BBQ's and a summer kitchen with a propane stove and cold running water.
The pool area is the common area. Most of the time it is vacant but there may be other friendly, welcoming guests or myself enjoying that space. You may get the entire area to yourself. You never know.
There is an artesian well beside the creek behind the summer kitchen. It is pure spring drinking water.
Seeing the property is totally off grid there is no hydro or city water. So no plumbed in toilets. There is an outhouse for human waste.
There are solar lights around the pool and sauna and a place to charge and use cell phones if need be.
There may be other options available for your stay.
A 21ft RV trailer with all the amenities of home for $100 per night. You can view the trailer on the air bnb site called "Pool side bliss glamper RV trailer".
Glamper meaning you have to bring your own blankets, sheets or sleeping bag and pillow.

The cottage is at the edge of a large wilderness area. We supply an ultra-safe large canoe with paddles and lifejackets. It's an easy and fun 15 minute paddle to reach the cottage.
The cottage is an artistic gem on a safe and quiet lake with beavers and loons and numerous bird species -- owls, herons, hawks, ospreys, and many migratory songbirds. In over 20 years of experience on the lake, we've seen no bears. It's a cosy three-room place with a small bedroom (8x12) with an antique double bed; a main room (16 x12) with a single bed; and a kitchen (8X12). Sleeps 3, max.
Access to the cottage is up a short set of irregular stone stairs from the lake. This could be an impediment for elderly or frail people. The lake is not a private lake. There are other cottages. But it's a very quiet lake and often there's no one else there.
The landscape is very similar to Algonquin Park's. North Kawartha is famous as the birthplace of the canoe. This is a thinly-populated landscape of rugged granite bluffs, thickly-forested hills and valleys, and gorgeous lakes that remain quiet and peaceful even during the hottest summer weeks.
This place was made by and for lovers, artists, poets, musicians, dreamers, writers, environmentalists, ecologists, escapists...and their children.

Weekend Trip to Natural Joy! Cosy Canoe Cottage
It is an amazing spot! Beautiful spot to swim, listen to the loons, amazing sunset views. And the cabin is crazy fun game if eye spy with so many things to see - and books! We had a great stay. You do need to be fairly agile as the steps are uneven and some are pretty high. But the set up is great with enough kitchen tools too host a chef.

We stayed in the larger bunker this weekend. The stay was just what we wanted. Our site was very private, barely even knew anyone else was there. Our puppers had an absolute blast and are completely pooped now! Joan is an amazing host and keeps the property well maintained! Close to a few waterfalls and parks to explore. Will definitely be back!

9 ft travel trailer
This was my favorite campsite of our trip around Lake Superior. It had privacy. The washroom/shower was lovely. There was a giant chessboard and bag games to use. A cleaning station for dishes. And 2 lovely spots to view the lake it was near. We wish we had the time to rent a kayak.

I really enjoyed my time. The site itself was a decent size, pretty quite and overall the grounds looked well maintained. The view was really nice aswell. The campground also had a few items there for your convenience at an extra cost like firewood, dumpster access to discard trash and hot water if you wanted to shower. I would book again.

We stayed at the Old Cedar campsite and it was a secluded paradise. Kelly was very communicative and helpful!
We brought an extra wagon to haul our gear the 10-minute walk into from where we parked—and we didn’t regret it! Our toddler enjoyed looking for mushrooms, snails, toads, and apples in the apple orchard. There is an amazing swimming hole in the river just across the road.
We stopped at Hearts restaurant for a special lunch and Kimberley’s General Store for fresh bread one day. Highly recommend!

We loved the morning shade at this campsite! Chris was very hospitable; he gave us a quick tour when we arrived and was very kind and accommodating with our requests.
My family and I spent two wonderful nights here enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature, stargazing, and we even got to see a firefly! This was our very first camping experience, and my kids would absolutely give this trip 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The only downside for us was the extreme heat during the day. There wasn’t much shade between around 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., so we used that time to go hiking and explore the area.
We would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone who loves lots of sunshine during the day, peaceful sounds of nature, and beautiful stargazing at night. It was a memorable first camping experience for our family. Thank you, Chris, for being such a welcoming host!

We had a great stay at Paul’s place! Paul is a great host and it’s clear he has put a lot of love into the cottage. Paul provided clear instructions and was great to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!
