This 64 acre property in the beaver valley has a rolling terrain that leads you through several different forests, with tones of spectacular views along the way The creek side trail, immediately takes you to another world. The fast flowing water trickling down through hundreds of mini waterfalls creates the perfect natural spa sound/environment. At night the darkness in the valley allows for a beautiful night skies. Spring and summer bring fire flies and all year round you get unbelievable big sky starry nights

This is in among the old cedars on the property about a 8 min hike up from the parking. It creates a unique experience being sheltered in these old giants by a flowing creek! This is the the perfect place to pitch a tent and enjoy nature at its finest. An outhouse is available on site, fires are permitted within local regulations, pets are welcome! This old farm gently slopes up towards an incredible escarpment with a Bruce Trail at the top. Right across the road is a Beaver River for fishing and paddling. There are several creeks flowing through the property. The main one flows through old Cedars with tones of mini waterfalls. Views of Old Baldy, Talisman ski club, the escarpment to the west and big sky for weather lovers. The wetlands right across from our property create an abundance of wildlife. A bird lovers delight!  There are several hiking trails on the property but for the adventurous hikers once you get to the top/east part of the property you enter into days of hiking trails. At the top of the escarpment, which is approximately a 45 min hike, consistently uphill, you will hit the Bruce trail. From here you can go south to old Baldy. This would be a full day hike but because of the remote location you will be hiking in areas that are rarely accessed.

Only a 5 min hike up to an isolated campsite right beside the creek gives you space for one tent and lots of extra space around the campfire. 2 camping chairs will be supplied. Water can be taken from the creek for cooking but nothing can be added to the creek (washing dishes can not happen in the creek). Outhouse is a 2 min walk down or 3 min walk up onto the property. Hiking trails are throughout the property or you can explore the Valley.

Lovely little bunkie with everything you need! Fresh linens, fresh water, clean outhouse and a beautiful view off the deck! Whether you're sitting out front watching the sunset over Old Baldy or enjoying nature off the back in the enclosed deck .

The valley is absolutely gorgeous. My sister and I bunkie 2 for a night since we were on a fishing trip. We were absolutely stoked with how clean and warm the bunkie was. The netted porch is absolutely gorgeous. You feel so small here with cliffs around you. It makes you really appreciate the earth and abundance that is here. It's private, not "back country" private, but private in its own way surrounded by fields of flowers and apple trees. (I did eat one, it was so good) The wagon was a huge plus to load gear. Made it easy. We brought a jet boil and stove for cooking our food at night and making coffee for the mornings. There is a spiritual energy here, and if you are that type of person, you will love it even more then someone who's not. I definitely want to come back on a solo healing trip to rejuvenate myself. Maple jars for water was absolutely stylish and functional- I loved it. Out house was clean. I imagine if all shared it might get a little off, but nothing like what you see at public places etc. Kelly was very welcoming from the beginning of booking until the end of our trip. Thanks for everything:)

We had a wonderful time camping here! We picked the cedar walk-in site and it was very secluded and private. The views on the property are gorgeous and there was lots of wildlife. Kelly was very kind and accommodating. There's also lots of wonderful hiking nearby. Absolutely going to book again!

Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The property was incredibly easy to find, and from the moment we arrived everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The cabin itself is amazing, comfortable, charming, and thoughtfully put together. The setting is absolutely spectacular and ended up being everything we had hoped for and more. It was exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. We’re already hoping to come back again. I can only imagine that the last week of May would be especially magical with all of the apple orchard blossoms in bloom. I bet it would be absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The campsite is in a beautiful area with a great location – close to so many trails and some really great food spots. Everything was perfectly set up for us, which made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. We had such a great time and would definitely love to come back!

Kelly's place was great. We had a mishap where we realized that we had forgotten to pack our tent and keys friends so kindly loaned us her tent and helped us set it up. The location is great and we had an amazing time!

Overall we had a great experience, though there were a lot of ants and uneven terrain around our campsite which made navigation difficult. However, the host is very helpful, and provided us with supplies. Very available and ready to help whenever she can.

My son and I had a awesome,relaxing,enjoyable time tent camping on Kelly"s deep woods site.Her property is very clean and has lots of mowed trails along with many rarely accessed trails for day backpacking leading to Bruce trail with breath taking scenery.There is also a very clean river for swimming ,kayaking or fishing.Her self composting outhouses around the property are very clean.Kelly also has alot of other camping stuff (saws,buckets,chairs etc.) if you forget your own.There are supply stores ,coffee shops and food within short driving distance.Kelly is a great host with lots of infomation and goes out of her way to accommodate her guest.I highly encourage you to try her Hipcamp out.My son and I are forsure without hesitation going back to Kellys Hipcamp.

This was a genuinely appreciated camp adventure! Kelly was welcoming and casual. The site itself is beautiful with a flowing creek, large fire pit and a nice spot for a hammock. Lots of hiking trails on the property and adjacent with access to the Bruce Trail on the Niagara Escarpment.

Came through during a multi day cycling trip and loved the cedar creek campsite. Great views all around the property, more trails than we got the time to explore, and clean outhouse with water access. Beaver Valley is a beautiful part of Ontario and this is a perfect base to explore it from!

Cleanest bunkie I've seen. Good location on top of a hill. Outhouse. Firepit a quick walk away. No shower. Lot of green. No solar power. No power of any kinds. Just a solar powered lantern. Fully furnished with bedding. Screened front porch. Nearly perfect cellphone reception. A rugged cart is provided for moving stuff to cabin. Would go again.

I stayed at one of the tent sites at Beaver Valley Base Camp during a 2 day hike on the Bruce Trail Beaver Valley section. There aren't enough superlatives to describe my incredible tent-site stay on her beautiful property. The site had views to both sides of the valley and I listened to the relaxing sound of a nearby cascade on the Beaver River as I watched the sun set over the valley. The covered platform and camp chairs offered a great spot to relax and spread out my camping equipment. This spot had everything I needed for a great camp and I can't wait to return. Thank you Kelly for sharing this amazing place.

Our stay at Cedar Creek was lovely! Really well maintained grassy trails all throughout within view of Old Baldy Escarpment. It was so nice falling asleep to the sound of the creek, there were a fair number of mosquitos but that’s to be expected with the wet summer we’ve had. Was also nice as fire pit, benches, two chairs and a netted dining tent. Also was great being a close drive to Duncan Escarpment Provincial park, and a 20 min drive from Georgian Bay.

I enjoyed myself so much that I booked AGAIN the very next weekend. Kelly has such a stunning piece of property and the campsite was absolutely perfect for me. There was so much to see and do in the area and I had so much fun!! Two weekends in a row and I still cant get enough of the place that I hope to be back a few more times before summer is over. This place is now my favorite little getaway and I am so grateful to have found it, just wish I had found it sooner!! Thanks so much for everything Kelly, you're such a gem!!
