The Bell Tent is set up and ready to use. It's cozy and spacious and can accommodate up to 8 people. Bring your own sleeping bags and sleeping mats or mattresses and you're ready to go. Within you'll find one futon for 2 with sheets, blankets and pillows provided.
Renting the Bell Tent offers use of all amenities that Forest Sanctuary has to offer. We have a covered communal outdoor kitchen and lounge with all cookware, dishware and utensils provided. Barbecue and Coleman stove with propane provided. We have a great communal fire pit where you can meet fellow campers from around the world. Recently, as a family, we have seen a large increase in the people traveling to the Sunshine Coast to escape the city limits. Unable to rock up to a campsite and pick our spot like we used to, it was easy to see a growing demand. We have taken everything we love about camping and done our best to give you a sense of what life on the Coast is really about. Gibsons -Sunshine Coast is a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver BC
Please note: By entering onto the property you release all liabilities towards us as hosts. You are choosing to camp in a forested area that contains many hazards as well as potential threats. These include but are not limited to; Wild life (bears, bob cats, cougars etc), Fire is a serious threat to this region during summer months strict no smoking policy is in effect. Care should be taken walking around uneven surfaces. All campers are required to stay within camp boundaries fail to follow these protocols will result in being asked to leave.

Everyone has easy access to the spa-like washrooms with coin-operated hot showers and flush toilets. Children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult in the Wash house. There’s a dish washing station in the center of the Wash House where you can refill your water jugs and bottles or wash dishes. Please do not use for washing hair or laundry or tooth brushing. We ask that you conserve water and keep the Wash House clean.

Hi, my name is Dave. My family and I would like to welcome you to Nile Point, a secluded campsite located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. I consider it the closest thing to paradise.
The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful.
Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience.
The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property,
a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ
We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes!
This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. That said, there is cell reception should you need it and a solar charger if you need to charge your devices.
Egmont offers a pub, a fancy restaurant, and a charming convenience store with wi-fi. We can take you in to town during your stay for an additional charge of 50$ per direction.
We've secured exclusive moorage at a private dock in Egmont. This is where you will park. This private parking includes secure gated access, closer proximity to our accommodations, and stunning waterfront surroundings

Wild Coast has 2 nightly campsites for you to enjoy. Site one is a large, flat open gravel base. And Site 2 is a large, flat grass based site. Please note you must have your own trailer or tent.
We’re a 5-10 minute drive to Rathtrevor beach/Parksville, Englishman River. We are right in the middle of an extensive trail network perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding.
Both sites have plenty of space for RVs and trailers - we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. 30 amp Electrical and potable water hookups are available on both sites. WI-FI onsite as well. There is a flush toilet and sink available in our farm store that is available for guest use. No shower yet, but we are working on it!
The property is private yet close to all amenities. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks!
Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley.
Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban and we have dry firewood for sale onsite. If you would like firewood send us a message before you arrive.
Pets are welcome, but please be responsible for them. There is a large open grass field for you to let them run and burn off that energy.

We loved camping at Poplar Grove! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our toddler and we all had a blast, from exploring the forest to seeing the beautiful sunflower field it was a very beautiful trip. We also particularly loved hearing the sheep baa'ing in the distance! Lisa was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in an hour early when our GPS was inaccurate on our arrival time, she also lent us their propane firepit so we could still enjoy a fire while there was a fireban in the area. We will definitely be back next summer!

Location: just off BC Hwy 4 near 4-4A intersection and Old Country Market (Goats on the Roof). Nothing fancy, just level, gravel pads with full hookups. (Water spigot is heated.) Could use as a staging point for day trips. No other campers on night we were there. Quiet; no shade, no privacy. To clarify, sites listed as 30 amp or 50 amp are those amperage’s only, no other sockets. Yes, I would stay here again as a backup to a park campground or when I need to empty tanks.

Easy to find and spacious sites. Really appreciated the access to laundry - wasn’t expecting that! I only stayed a night but it was a good place between pacific rim and Nanaimo. It’s close to a great coffee place just a couple minute drive away. There was a little dog that was loose on the property for a moment, it seemed nice/shy. I was getting ready to leave and didn’t have my dogs with me at that moment so not sure how it would have responded to them. Didn’t do much exploring because it was a stopover for me but it seems close to hikes, water etc. There’s also a Thai restaurant nearby but I didn’t try it. It was a great place to stay the night and do laundry!

We loved our short stay at the Forest Sanctuary. Our host has put so much loving intention into the moments he has created on the property. From the outdoor eating space to showering under the stars and even the hot sauna and cold plunge the experiences were lovely! Incredibly quiet, magical and deeply connected to the land.

Spacious sites & like that they are terraced. Rare not to have a huge lists of rules; we appreciated that. The proximity to Rathtrevor Provincial Park, Englishman River Falls & the Old Country Mart in Coombs was nice. Sites could use some privacy between them and some visual separation from host’s property would be great as there’s a bit of an industrial vibe there. Overall, a good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave's, which was perfect for a shorter stay. It is in a great location, walking distance to the funky village, the ocean and pier. We appreciated the picnic table and shelter, water, chairs, propane fire ring and RV type toilet tent, which allowed for an easy and minimal set up. The spot is nice and flat for tenting. It is close to the road with some day time traffic noise. Dave was friendly and easy to communicate with -overall we had a great night at Dave's!

Such an amazing spot near bunch of fun beaches and minutes away from Coombs! We loved it, we were able to let our kids be kids and had amazing dance parties! This was our fourth annual Mom/Kids camping trip and we will definitely return next year!
Lisa was super helpful when we had an issue with our hose and very quick to reply. Hosts were extremely private and we felt completely alone in the woods! The site also has nice grass, perfect for kids!

We had the most relaxing time here! We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves for one night, but even when the other site was occupied it never was remotely as busy as your average BC Parks campsite gets. We had a ton of space and experienced the most amazing stargazing at night. The gas fire pit was an added bonus. Janie and Nelson were around for any questions we had, and their very friendly dog came by for regular visits. All of the area's major landmarks are a short drive away. I can honestly say that I have never felt so relaxed during a camping trip. Thanks a lot, Janie!

Amanda was very welcoming host. She accommodated us perfectly even though we arrived late.
The site was peaceful and tidy. Outhouse was clean and well equipped.
A guardian Shepard dog greeted us on our entry, very friendly! but watch out for the tail wags, it will melt you😊.
3 more sheeps welcomed us and a donkey greeted us in the morning.
Our dog had a lot of fun meeting new friends.
