We had a wonderful stay at Little Cedars Hideaway. Our host was very accommodating and communication was great. It is a very calm and peaceful Hipcamp and the full hookups were very nice. Our site was large and level and the other sites seemed the same. Having laundry and wifi on site was a bonus. We hope to stay here again soon when we travel to mid Vancouver Island. Thank you Walter!

Easy to find, all the hook-ups you need. Located close to lots of beautiful walks/swims/lookouts and an easy 45mins to the ferry in Nanaimo.
Spots are well marked, easy to connect to and level.

Site 4 was super.!! Easy to find. Quiet. Spacious. Close to Coombs, Parksville and Qualicum. We will stay here again!!

It‘ was a wonderful place. We had electricity, water and a sani dump. The place was very nice. We were even able to wash and tumbler the laundry. We had. We even had great internet that was available. Walter is very friendly and helpful. We recommend everyone to come here. This place was very queiet and better than a campground

Camping near Qualicum Beach and Coo

Really lovely, secluded spot. Quiet. Felt very private in site 4. Near to Hamilton hobby farm which our kids really enjoyed and also creekside cafe. Easy to get to qualicum beach and nice aquatic centre there (Ravensong). Hookups all worked smoothly.

We feel so lucky to have found Little Cedar’s Hideaway when looking for an RV site on Vancouver Island.
The host and his family were so friendly and welcoming, we felt right at home! They provided fantastic suggestions of local events and things to do, and were quick to respond to any questions we had.
The location is quiet, private and unbeatable! With quick access to amenities, and other places on the island, we were able to do day trip adventures to Victoria, Tofino, and all over in between.
The site itself - perfect! Spacious, level, clean, and comfortable. With full hookups for our RV we could conveniently stay for a longer period of time and the laundry facilities on site was a huge bonus!
We highly recommend Little Cedar’s Hideaway, it’s has become our new favourite getaway. We will definitely be back!

Little Cedars is a solid campsite. There are about 4 sites on a slope - each one on a terrace. The sites are good sized for even a large RV, and the services (sewer, water, power) are new, well located, and work well. The ground is gravel and flat for each site, but I was sure happy to have four wheel drive when I had to back up the hill with the trailer into our site. More careful planning on my part would have mitigated that need, however.
The sites are beside each other, and there is no privacy between them - which is accurately shown in the pictures. These sites look to be really new - and I got the impression that privacy is a future project - though I'm not sure now what gave me that impression.
The sites are beside a very large gravel field/lot, with a warehouse sized garage a few hundred yards away. The Tofino highway is also in the distance, so you can hear that as you go to sleep. You cannot see the highway, however.
We needed a place to stay overnight for our day-trip to Ucluelet - and this site worked perfectly for us.
Our host dropped by not long after we arrived, and was super nice - giving us the password for the WiFi and chatting briefly.

This campground was such a great find. It’s a smaller property, which made it feel really personal and peaceful—just what we were hoping for. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and everything was clean and well taken care of. We especially appreciated the working amenities like the laundry and hookups, which made our stay super easy. The owner was quick to respond and genuinely helpful, which made a big difference. You can tell they care about making sure guests have a great experience.

We loved our stay at this campground! It’s a small, peaceful spot—which was exactly what we were looking for. The setting was beautiful and quiet, and close to things on the island. All the amenities were clean and worked well, especially the laundry and hookups, which made things super convenient. The host was great—really responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making the place welcoming. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-kept place to camp.
