Please note we have strict quiet times from 9pm to 8am. And strict no smoking policy as we are in the middle of a dry forest during the summer.
The property is just a 10-minute drive from beaches, restaurants, and hiking trails. Moon Gate farms is an ideal getaway for a nature experience and perfect for mountain walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, or couples looking to escape into the wilderness.
Communal outdoor kitchen with camp stove, prep tables, toaster, microwave, are provided. Hot outdoor showers and flushing toilets.
Friendly canine campers are also invited. We have two resident Bernese mountain x black retriever dogs who love to bark when campers arrive! They are friendly and settle quickly when told to sit and chill.

The Forest Sanctuary Bell Tent is our newest addition at Forest Sanctuary and is located within the beautiful Forest Sanctuary Campground in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast. The Bell Tent is set up and ready to use. It's cozy and spacious and can accommodate up to 8 people. Bring your own sleeping bags and sleeping mats or mattresses and you're ready to go. Within you'll find one futon for 2 with sheets, blankets and pillows provided.
Renting the Bell Tent offers use of all amenities that Forest Sanctuary has to offer. We have a covered communal outdoor kitchen and lounge with all cookware, dishware and utensils provided. Barbecue and Coleman stove with propane provided. We have a great communal fire pit where you can meet fellow campers from around the world. Also included are solar showers and a great open air outhouse. Drinking water is provided. Firewood can be purchased onsite for when campfires are permitted. Propane fire pits are available for rent.
The property also has a great camping cabin and level grass forest campsites. I can accommodate large groups and private events and parties. Feel free to ask me about them.

This property was purchased nearly half a century ago. For the majority of this time the forest section you will be camping in was left undeveloped, apart from a few mountain bike trails. Recently, as a family, we have seen a large increase in the people traveling to the Sunshine Coast to escape the city limits. Unable to rock up to a campsite and pick our spot like we used to, it was easy to see a growing demand. We have taken everything we love about camping and done our best to give you a sense of what life on the Coast is really about. Gibsons -Sunshine Coast is a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver BC
Please note: By entering onto the property you release all liabilities towards us as hosts. You are choosing to camp in a forested area that contains many hazards as well as potential threats. These include but are not limited to; Wild life (bears, bob cats, cougars etc), Fire is a serious threat to this region during summer months strict no smoking policy is in effect. Care should be taken walking around uneven surfaces. All campers are required to stay within camp boundaries fail to follow these protocols will result in being asked to leave.

Firewood is available for $30/wheelbarrow on site when available (unless we have a fire ban.)
All campsites include the fire pit and picnic table.
Everyone has easy access to the spa-like washrooms with coin-operated hot showers and flush toilets. Children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult in the Wash house. There’s a dish washing station in the center of the Wash House where you can refill your water jugs and bottles or wash dishes. Please do not use for washing hair or laundry or tooth brushing. We ask that you conserve water and keep the Wash House clean.

The Gertie Bus is located a 5 min walk to a beautiful white sand beach (at low tide). There are walking trails all around and lots of beach access. Tucked into the front of our property in the quiet of Gabriola island you’ll find the converted Gertie bus with all the amenities you need.
The bus has a gas stovetop/oven, bar fridge and sink with grey water system. Equipped kitchen and sofa area to hang out.
The standard queen bed is great for sleeping in and relaxing with that second cup of coffee.

Hi, my name is Dave. My family and I would like to welcome you to Nile Point, a secluded campsite located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. I consider it the closest thing to paradise.
The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful.
Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience.
The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property,
a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ
We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes!
This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. That said, there is cell reception should you need it and a solar charger if you need to charge your devices.
Egmont offers a pub, a fancy restaurant, and a charming convenience store with wi-fi. We can take you in to town during your stay for an additional charge of 50$ per direction.
We've secured exclusive moorage at a private dock in Egmont. This is where you will park. This private parking includes secure gated access, closer proximity to our accommodations, and stunning waterfront surroundings

We are located right at the Earl's Cove Ferry Terminal, tucked into a beautiful wooded area.
We're just a 1-minute walk from The Cove Restaurant and the Earls Cove–Saltery Bay ferry.
Less than a 5-minute drive from stunning Ruby Lake and about a 10-minute drive from Egmont, the Backeddy Pub, and Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park, the property is ideally situated for exploring the area.
This getaway is perfectly located for anyone looking for a short pit stop on the way up the coast or a leisurely stay to explore the stunning surroundings.
The property offers a few options for overnight guests:
• A tent pad (camping gear can be provided by the hosts if needed), with access to a shared kitchen and, starting in June, an outhouse and outdoor shower to be shared with guests staying in the pavilion.
• A cozy pavilion with power and heat, shared access to a washroom and outdoor shower, and its own small fridge, hot plate, and BBQ.
• A bedroom in the main cabin for up to two guests, with shared access to a bathroom in the cabin.
All guests are welcome to use the common kitchen, located at the top of the property.
Guests are also welcome to use the two kayaks and two paddleboards provided by the owners.
There are plenty of scenic trails, hidden bays, and beautiful viewpoints to explore nearby, as well as throughout the Sunshine Coast. Madeira Park and Pender Harbour are both only about 20 minutes away by car.
Please note: A small ferry terminal is nearby, which adds a bit of local coastal activity during the day. Ferry arrivals and departures can create brief noise for a few minutes at a time, typically between 6:30 AM and 9:30 PM.

Your hosts, Jia and Ric, have been living and working on their beautiful waterfront property for five years, developing a work-in-progress hobby farm complete with zen gardens, orchards, and a vineyard. Mudge Island and its surrounding waterways are home to an abundance of wildlife, including bald eagles, herons, orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, and seals.
Guests can enjoy canoe and paddleboard rentals, as well as guided canoe paddling tours through Stuart Channel, False Narrows, and Dodd Narrows—the scenic waterways surrounding Mudge Island. Ric, your host and guide, has lived in the area for most of his life and is highly knowledgeable about the region’s local history and marine life. While Ric entertains guests with fables and legends of the area, co-host Jia can delight your palate with delicious, healthy home-cooked meals for those who prefer a truly relaxing vacation without the need to cook. Meals may be ordered as needed or for the full duration of your stay.
Guests are also welcome to order or pack their own picnic lunches and spend the day exploring one of several nearby beaches, each unique and beautiful in its own way. With no commercial services available on the island, you will truly feel immersed in the great outdoors. For those who wish to stay connected, internet service is available on site. Cell phone service may be spotty or unavailable in some areas of the island; however, a reliable signal is available on the property.
This getaway is ideal for guests seeking a nature retreat that can be tailored to their preferences—whether that means complete self-reliance or a fully pampered, all-inclusive experience. Additional services, such as massage therapy with a local registered massage therapist, may also be arranged, subject to availability. Hmm. Alright, here’s a polished version you could post: We had such a wonderful stay at Kitchen Sink Farm and can’t recommend it enough. The campground was spotless, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up. Our RV had a brand new queen mattress that was super comfortable, a small stove that worked great, and a picnic table with an awning, chairs, and a cozy yard where we enjoyed meals and stargazed. The hot shower was excellent, and we loved the little touches, like the honesty station with shampoos and soaps. What truly made the stay special were the people. Communication was always prompt and warm, and Yvonne kindly gave us a tour of the sanctuary, introducing us to each of the animals —horses, cows, pigs, goats, geese, ducks, chickens, and more. That was a highlight of the trip. We were also touched by the beautiful Kitchen Sink Farm glass water bottles they gave each of us, a thoughtful gesture that reflects the kindness of the people who run it. Knowing that the campsite supports a nonprofit animal sanctuary made it feel even more meaningful. It’s also just minutes from Roberts Creek amenities like the pier and Gumboot Cafe, making it a perfect base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. We stayed two nights as a family and would happily return.

I booked a last-minute trip to stay at Michele’s Bunkie, which was well designed, and super comfy. The setting couldn’t be more serene and tranquil. I showed up about 30 mins after booking and Michele rushed over to clean the bunkie for me (even though it bc was already in great shape). She was an amazing host and I highly suggest a dip in the pond!

We stayed in the Maple Cabin, nestled beneath a beautiful, large maple tree that provided the perfect amount of shade from the summer sun. The cabin sits right across from Susan’s gorgeous garden, filled with an assortment of plants, flowers, and greenery. Susan was even kind enough to share some freshly picked potatoes with us!
The beach is less than a five-minute drive away, where we enjoyed peaceful walks along the shore and the refreshing ocean breeze.
The entire property was incredibly peaceful and quiet—the perfect place to slow down and unwind. At night, we were treated to a sky covered in a blanket of stars, which made the experience even more magical.
Susan and tony were wonderful host, and we truly enjoyed our stay. 10/10 would recommend the Maple Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Loved newly renovated and well kept cabin, picture did not embrace all the experience you could have at the place. Warm welcoming from the host, 2 bedrooms, living room is spacious, my kids loved feeding animals every morning and evenings. Quiet night out of busy area, close to any other attractions including beaches and hiking trails.
Beautiful sunset restaurant was 5 mins away( Shady Rest) , Rathtravor beach was only 25mins away. You can’t compare this place to older and busy accommodation around that area.
Goats on the roof and markets are only 15 mins away as well as Cathedral grove.
We would love to come back another time!!

Such a wonderful experience staying here. The owners were such lovely people, they even allowed us to extend our stay last minute. We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was perfect. Very comfortable bed and very clean. You have a picnic bench and chairs/table outside your door to hang out and enjoy. The star gazing at night was incredible. It was nice and quiet both nights, it felt like we had the place to ourselves! We would absolutely go back again, and likely will next summer!

We had an absolute blast staying at Christian's camp! It's truly amazing what Christian has done with the property—everything is beautifully maintained, and you can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into creating such a peaceful retreat.
The camp is quiet, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. We especially appreciated that so many essentials were already provided, which meant we didn't have to pack or carry a lot of extra gear.
