Dave was the perfect host. The campsite was accessible, clean and well set up. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to camp close to "downtown" Robert's Creek.

I checked the "mixed feelings" box mostly because of the difficulty maneuvering my rental camper van into the parking space at the site. I wanted to back it in. Unfortunately, the camper van didn't do well on the loose gravel driveway and the tight turning radius. But Dave, the host, kindly backed it in for me with guidance from his helpful neighbor.
Other than that, it was a great place to stay for the night between ferries on my way down the Sunshine Coast!

Such a lovely stay at Dave’s property/private campsite! We loved the location, the amenities provided and the surrounding nature and activities to do. A great spot to just relax and enjoy nature, steps from the ocean and Dave was available to help us with anything we needed. Beautiful bird sounds and sunsets. Would definitely return to this memorable spot! 💚 thank you 😊

We had such a fantastic stay at Dave’s campsite! Dave and his wife were excellent – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and super helpful throughout our visit. The location is beautiful, and just a short walk to the beach. Our kids had an absolute blast exploring and playing, and we loved how relaxed and family-friendly the atmosphere was. Couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience – we’ll definitely be back!

I loved camping at Dave's campsite! It had all the basic amenities but what really made our time memorable was Dave and his wife! They were so kind and welcoming. We loved chitchatting with them and appreciated all the recommendations they gave us! 10/10 would absolutely stay there again! The town was beautiful and we can't wait to come back to visit again!

Clean, level camping spot close to town and walking distance to the beach. We brought a camper van and a tent and there was lots of room for everyone. Dave had a fire pit and chairs, covered table area and even a composting toilet for us to use. Set in a forested location, it was a quiet location, with either the sounds of cars on the road or the ocean waves. Very convenient location.

Terrific location, near the water, 2 blocks from sweet little Robert’s Creek and Dave, our host, is THE BEST. Sweetest guy, offering things to do and took care of us at every step. Can’t wait till next year!

We really enjoyed the forested site, and the amenities Dave had set up. The pop up tent was especially nice on the rainy day we had. Dave was very sweet, communicative and did all he could to ensure we had a comfortable stay, including local tips and giving privacy at the same time. Also super we could walk 5 min to town since our rig stays put once set up (pop up). The town of Roberts Creek is not to be missed - adorable, quaint, artistic in a gorgeous natural setting with an amazing garden in the center of town. Would for sure stay again!

This place is a perfect jumping off location to get to know Robert's Creek and surrounding areas. Walking to the Gumboot Cafe, and other local wonders, both man-made and natural, is really easy. The hosts are very kind and knowledgeable, they love their environment and it shows. A note, if you are looking for a "classic secludrd wilderness camping adventure" it would be better to choose a more remote location. The site is beautiful and very well appointed, it is more like staying in a good friend's beautiful, 90% private yard, safe, full of nature, but definitely not a traditional camp site. Do some research before you come, check out all the amazing things and events you are close to, if exploration and immersion are your thing, this place is perfect. If you are coming to experience what "Creek Life" is all about, it truly is a great place to start.

It was overall a great camping experience. Dave and Elke were very accomodating,friendly, and treated us like family.Dave was prompt in answering questions and gives clear instructions. The area has portalet,propane fire pit and canopy which is a great bonus. The place is a 5min walk from the beach and the town centre.We recommend staying here when visiting Sunshine Coast.

Great spot. Super close to massive trail network and a short walk to the beach, corner store and a couple good restaurants. Dave has a great setup. Highly recommend but not to the point that it won’t be available for me next year cause I plan on coming back.

We had a good time in this campsite. The location is perfect for nature lovers, near to the beach, peaceful surroundings. The campsite was well-maintained, clean, and offered a good level of privacy. Dave and the wife were really nice and helpful.
