All of our campsites are perfect for having a campfire (fire season dependent). NO rubbish can be burnt in any campfires at all. Each Site has a fire pit. BYO wood.
PETS WELCOME (MUST TO BE CONTROLLED AT ALL TIMES).
These are sites onlY, NO toilet or shower facilities are provided, or freshwater. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CAMPING TOILET OR ONE IN YOUR CARAVAN/CAMPER. (There are dump points located in Gloucester and Stroud townships, both approximately 40 min away).

We have 250 acres in the Chichester Valley, we grow chemical-free vegetables and farm cattle. We have campsites on the Chichester River and we are in the water catchment area for the Chichester Dam. As an active beef farm we may have cattle in the paddock you camp in but the site will be secured by temporary electric fencing to ensure your safety. Hence, we ONLY allow dogs to stay whilst on a lead or tethered run at all times. Dogs sighted off a leash will result in you leaving immediately with no refund.
Most of the year the river is lovely and clear and ideal for swimming, fishing, photography or just enjoying. Wedgetail Eagles, Black Cockatoos, Black Shouldered Kites, Kookaburras and Butcher Birds life in the area. As do kangaroos, possums and echidnas. Our night skies are very clear, no pollution here!
All of our campsites are perfect for having a campfire (fire season dependent).
Our sites are ideal for self-contained vans, camper trailers, medium motor homes, tents or swags, it’s up to you. You must have your own toilet facilities and take away all waste. This is very important and an absolutely essential requirement for all visitors. As is the case with general rubbish.
You should bring sufficient water with you as we do not provide drinking or potable water. You will have very good mobile and internet coverage across the property.
When you make a reservation at the property we will always endeavour to put you in your preferred location as best we can. However if we are impacted by adverse weather or need to run cattle on certain parts of the farm then we may need to make a change to the actual site you are in and trust you understand.

Maiden Jewel is a working property where we breed horses and cattle, so you'll get to experience a little of everyday country life during your stay. The property is also home to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, goannas, deer and an abundance of birdlife.
Camping is off-grid and guests are expected to be self-contained, including bringing their own toilet and shower facilities. There is one portaloo centrally located on the property; however, depending on where you're camping, you may need to drive to access it.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead due to our horses, cattle and abundant wildlife.
NOTE. Noise curfew 9pm this is a family campsite. If you want loud music and late nights this is not the place for you.
Please note: BYO horse riding is not available through Hipcamp. If you would like to bring your horse and ride at Maiden Jewel, please contact YellowScone Adventures directly to enquire about our dedicated horse riding and camping experiences.

Had an amazing 5 nights here. Plenty of room for 3 families, 2 caravans and a large camper trailer. Plenty of room for the kids to play!! Flat grassy area right on the river, plenty of fish jumping but couldn't catch any!!! Very peaceful and relaxing!! Would definitely love to come back here!!

Perfect place to spend the night while in transit. We’ve got a powered site which was fine. it faces the highway so that makes it quiet noisy all night long due to trucks driving downhill. Facilities are perfect.

The place was tidy, well maintained, and everything was available with high quality. The pool was clean and great. All showers and toilets were all working.
We got the access code before arriving there and got there without any issues. Absolutely recommend this place.

Amazing beautiful secluded campsite that is very well maintained. Loved my time here, no shoes to walk around in as it’s like a bowling green, river was stunning especially the full moon on the last night and a beautiful sunrise the next morning. The owner popped down a couple of times to check did I need anything (solo traveller), and give me some home grown sweet potato (yummy), loved our convos on all things farming. My only regret is not booking in longer. Thanks so much, I shall be back.

What a beautiful spot to stay for a few days!
Brian is absolute legend - from escorting us onto the property to popping in for a beer/checking in, to showing us the daily cattle milking routine. The fresh milk & honey were delicious!
The site felt private & the river was so nice for a daily swim or two! Our dogs loved it as well.
We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area next.
