This campsite was absolute magic. The grounds were pristine and peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. The river was a dream—clean, calm, and perfect for swimming. We loved sharing the space with the friendly cows and the sweetest horse, who greeted us like old friends. Our dogs were in heaven, running free and soaking up the fresh air. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and smile a lot. We felt completely relaxed and connected to the land. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Not overly crowded which was nice. Lots of cute cows in the surrounding paddocks. There are two (really well maintained) compostable toilets, fire pits, rubbish bins, (bore) water and firewood for sale on site ($15). Gregg came around to make sure everything was okay. You do get a bit of noise from the road but nothing that is unbearable.

Powered site 4 was amazing, perched in the top of the hill. Host Alec (Darcee was away) and caretaker Andrew were both friendly and down to earth. The views are amazing, we were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves and walk around all of the sites. We loved site 3 and 4 of the Powered site and Lake view was our favourite non-Powered site. The amenities were great, with a clean and hit shower and flushing toilet up on the hill with the Powered sites. There is a dump point at the rear of the toilet - best one I've ever used. The dam and pontoon were great to look at, but also great for a swim, our Labs loved this! The entire camping area is beautifully mowed and maintained and so green. It was a treat to watch down on the workings of the farm, with the cows going in for milking and the resting cows inquisitively popping by the fence to say hello. One day we went for a 30 min drive to Taylor's Arm for lunch at The Pub with no Beer - highly recommended. The following day we went for a 35 min drive to Nambucca Heads for lunch at The V Wall Tavern - also highly recommended. We stayed three nights and will return, this is a great hipcamp.

Camping at Tassie Bushland was very peaceful and quiet, only one lot of fellow campers there at the same time. Where we were camped it was easy to fish off the bank. Short drive to Bellingen where the shops were interesting, and the local pub served lovely food.

Beautiful camping on pristine grasslands that back onto the Bongil Bongil National Park. Cows with Guns MTB park and Sawmill are close by as well. We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website. At all our campsites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. My property consists of 100 acres with two rivers joining in the property with at least 1 km of river frontage. We are located in the foothills of the Nambucca valley. Pristine beaches are 20 minutes away, mountains and four-wheel drive tracks are a quick 20 minutes the other way. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville. Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife. Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings. We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok. Your pet is welcome to camp with you.

If you leave Kempsey an hour before the road opens you will be able to drive straight through. Xmas. No roadworks from Sunday 21st December to Sunday 4th January. DO NOT USE GPS once on Kempsey Road! Because the road is closed on Live Traffic, GPS will take you into the back hills. From Kempsey 1.5 hours. Travel through Willawarrin, Bellbrook and continue straight for 32 kms until you see our signs on the left. This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water. **Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors. There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace. Please note - unless otherwise approved by host , we allow only 1 caravan or camper or tent or motorhome per site. Dog friendly. Fires are permitted if restrictions are not in place AND MUST be contained in our fire pit , a brazier or portable fire pit. Please do not light fires directly on the ground/grass. Firewood - Bags available at cream shed on property - $20
