Redbank Camp Grounds are located approx 1km below the Nymboida Weir on part of our 6km Nymboida River Frontage. Redbank is a family run working cattle property enjoying 1600 acreas of undulating hills down to river flats. We are west of the village of Nymboida, 40km southwest of Grafton. Redbank is on Section 2 of the Clarence Canoe and Kayak trail - which happens to be the longest white water trail in Australia! Whether you enjoy bush walking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, reading or just relaxing by the water, you will find it here at Redbank Camp Grounds. You may even find platypus in this pristine river! The closest town for supplies is Coutts Crossing, approx 30km drive. Here you can find a general store, post office, service station and tavern. The camp site itself is large with sections of flat ground and easy access to the river. 4x4 Access only - please no large vans. Fishing is open November to July each year and is catch and release only. Camp fires allowed as season permits.Redbank Camp Grounds are located right on the river. Plenty of grassy space for campers to select their perfect spot. This site is approximately 1km downstream from the Nymboida River Weir. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. Unfortunately the camp site will close in times of flood. If this occurs when you are booked for camping, a refund or rebooking is offered. The track into the campsite is 4x4 only. Loved our stay. Beautiful view, photos don’t do it justice! You stay so close to the water and have a nice beautiful flat area all to yourself. Well kept drop toilet, nice long drive through the property with the cows!! Host was very kind and accommodating and let you do your own thing. Nothing bad to say!

A great campsite with easy access to the river. This section of the river is very picturesque and the steep hillside on the opposite side provides a great backdrop. Very private campground.

We loved staying here. it was very private, quiet and picturesque. Tania was great to deal with and the Nymboida River is beautiful. We had a Kookaburra that was getting very forth right wanting to be fed for 2 days. Please don't feed them its not good for the Kookies! It can make them sick and we have elsewhere witness them becoming very aggressive in packs and really harassing campers as they try to cook. I know it's a novelty but they can inflict damage to themselves and really scare and hurt people. This one at Redbank Camp ended up hunting how they should in the wild after not being fed and it was awesome to watch. Nature at its best. Oh and the honey is delish!

Loved our stay on Tania’s property. A very scenic drive in with lots of cows along the way. We enjoyed the peaceful campground, river views and beautiful birdlife. Thanks again Tania.

We loved this little oasis! Such a great private camp ground. The river is beautiful and Tania and the fam look after the property so well. We had a great time here, will definitely keep it in the cards to come back. The honey is also wonderful. There are a fair few gates to go through (not mentioned on the instructions) and ignore the actual property address, you turn off before there!! Byo toilet paper. Look out for the rope swing, everyone got a laugh out of that!

Great spot! Exactly what we wanted. Lots of grassy area, just above an amazing stretch of the river. Having the whole place to yourself is a game changer. The flow of the river was gentle - we floated down stream with the kids and found a rope swing. Highly recommended.
