We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife. Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please. Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop. Well-behaved dogs welcome on leash.

Stockyard Paddock is located at our property called "Tarrawonga", situated on the outskirts of Port Albert. Two minutes drive to the town centre and 10 minutes to nearby Yarram. Tarra Bulga National Park and the magnificent Wilson's Promontory are easy day trips for some of the best hiking in the state. We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife. Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please. Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot right on the river and all to yourself. Dogs can be off lead. Bit tricky to find, quick call to Adrian got us sorted. If coming off Stoney Creek Rd you need to take the left turn as soon as you see #69 and go up past #67 till you get to the Road Closed. That's the road in, open/close that gate then head down. One track is steeper than the one with some rutts. We took the rutted option, slow and steady you will be fine. We got in and out in our 2WD towing our camper trailer NO ISSUES even after having had 15ml of rain the day/night before we left. Awesome spot, will definitely be back! Thanks Adrian

It was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek. Handy having the drop toilet also. We ended up in a different spot to the one we booked ( booked site 7 ended up at Miners) due to it being very wet and muddy and the new spot was much more suitable for us with our caravan. Little confusing when we got there, no one was there and no instructions. Trent did answer his phone and direct us when we called and called back later to check we were ok. We appreciated the later “checkout” Trent allowed us to have so that we had time to dry off our stuff, unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there. Also appreciated the fire wood bought down by Trent, we tried to have a fire but the weather wasn’t obliging. We would stay again.

The Roseneath Caravan Park is located in the beautiful, scenic Gippsland area, on the sandy, South East shore of Lake Wellington. This family and pet friendly caravan park offers a real bush experience, being located in the tranquil bushlands of Meerileu. Experience fabulous fishing, boating and swimming. Fishing is a lot of fun and good catches of Bream, Mullet, Flathead, and Carp can be had. Fishing on the lake is great from the shore or a boat. Hollands Landing boat ramp is only a short drive from the park. You can relax with 10km of sandy, child friendly swimming beach on beautiful Lake Wellington. Enjoy the lake's clean, safe swimming conditions, which are ideal for yachting, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, and boating. Or take a long, lazy stroll along one of our many walking tracks or along the water's edge. You can also bring your pushbikes and enjoy one of the many bike tracks. The park is pet friendly and ponies and horses have a large paddock with clean water if you wish to bring them along and saddle up for some excellent trail riding. Get back to nature with some native flora and fauna spotting. Abundant wildlife includes rare Sea Eagles, Wedge Tail Eagles, friendly Parrots, and Rosellas. Wombats, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Rabbits, and Echidnas are easily found and large bush possums are everywhere and are easily hand-fed and friendly. Groups of Hog Deer are seen occasionally as they are fairly timid. We are located between Bairnsdale and Sale. The Park is set on 174 acres of peaceful bushland, including Banksia, Red Gum, White Gum, and ancient River Gum forest. The Park offers both powered and unpowered sites, a communal lounge, separate accommodation, modern toilet facilities, sheltered BBQs as well as a camp kitchen. The property consists of 5 acres with a river, so you can set up a tent right next to the river and fish for dinner. The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely. 4WD is recommended for easy access. We recommend tents/swags. 4WD with Heavy trailer is still very hard to enter when it is wet. Guests will have access to a toilet throughout their stay. There is a communal fire pit available, so guests can enjoy a campfire on the cool evenings. Please abide by any local fire restrictions during your stay. You can walk from my house to Noojee Heritage Centre, Trestle Bridge, Alpine Trout Farm, and Noojee Hotel for a delicious pizza, Cool beer from tool sheed and coffee from red duck cafe. You can drive to Toorongo Falls, Ada Tree in 10 minutes and Baw Baw Ski Resort in 40 minutes.
