Stockyard Paddock is located at our property called "Tarrawonga", situated on the outskirts of Port Albert. Two minutes drive to the town centre and 10 minutes to nearby Yarram. Tarra Bulga National Park and the magnificent Wilson's Promontory are easy day trips for some of the best hiking in the state.
We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please.
Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop.

We loved our stay at Clancy Springs - Adrian and Sandy are lovely and welcoming hosts. Clancy Springs is camping made easy, which we thoroughly appreciated with two little ones. The camp kitchen is incredibly well equiped and the toilet and shower were always in impeccable condition. We loved dining with the cows and kangaroos at meal times (in the next door paddock!)

Amazing campsite. Great views and facilities.
The ride to campsite is fun. Opening and closing gates gives you a little “outback-ish” feel. A little bit off road.
Adrian is a great guy. Very welcoming and his campsite is well looked after. He updated his facilities about two years ago so all is new.
(Shower is amazing)
The site itself is beautiful and spacious. At dawn the kangaroos show themself in the back field. I guess that explains the name.
10/10 would recommend.

Our 3 night camping experience at Kangaroo Rise was nothing short of spectacular. The hosts Adrian and Sandy are 2 of the most gracious and helpful people you will ever meet! The site itself is very clean and spacious, surrounded by nature. Waking up to Cows moo'ing and Roos going about their mornings within stones throw away made for an absolutely memorable stay. We brought our dog along and he had a blast free roaming within a fenced off area (with other guests' permission of course). We couldn't stop commending the cleanliness and how well equipped the amenities were. It made sense because we learnt that a lot of effort was put into constructing the kitchen, shower and toilet area. It's definitely one of the best we've ever seen and we'll definitely be back. Thanks again Adrian and Sandy for your hospitality!

We took our little dog out on a camping trip and absolutely loved it. Good location a few cool spots fairly close. Amenities were very clean and better than most campsites. A great little bar on the site too with TVs and a rustic vibe to it. Would stay again for sure

Very well maintained, flat ground suitable for larger vehicles. There's some road noise but this did not bother us at all. There were other campers but the area was so large plenty of space to spread out, We had a good time, thanks!

Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night.
Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

This camp is easily accessible towing with a van and had plenty of room for manoeuvring as i had the paddock to myself. (Midweek, off season)
Sandy was a great host. They are developing a wetland which was really interesting to see.
A little local traffic noise, but nothing too intrusive. Lovely nature sounds during the night, and a great view of stars. I'll be returning.

We had a great time at Srockyard Paddock. Only two other rigs there, but plenty of room should more have come. Sandy and Saul met us on arrival and pointed out the wildlife including Kangaroos. A great campsite!

Great venue, the host Charlotte was excellent and made us feel right at home. the sites were awesome, great views and each night ended by the log fire with a glass of wine. 10/10, in fact we are looking for excuses to go back!
My 9 year old also rated it as a 10 out of 10!

What a wonderful property. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful views. Great camp kitchen and shower and toilet. We had such a relaxing break away. So peaceful. We spotted, kangaroo's 🦘 rabbits 🐇 and a very happy Koala 🐨. The sunsets were incredible. We would highly recommend and we will return. 👌👍😁😁🔥🍷🍾🥂
