There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more.
Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience.
Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes.
Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's.
Amplified music is not allowed.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

A group of us stayed at the Cozy Pozy Caravan and Site 2 of Tamara's farm for 3 nights over the new year. We had a great time and Tamara was a fantastic host! Site 2 has a bit of a slope, but there were enough flat areas to comfortably set up 2 tents, a gazebo, and a campervan (with levelling ramps). The camping area is open, but surrounded by beautiful trees with heaps of birdlife. Also friendly goats and sheep that were super cute! Would recommend staying here, and hope to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Grassy Flat at Rodborough Vale, right by Tullaroop Reservoir. The campsite is spacious, quiet, and beautifully spread out — lots of privacy with plenty of distance between sites, so it never feels crowded.
It’s dog friendly, has fire pits, and there’s a little creek/pond right by the camping spots which makes it feel even more peaceful. The owner, Mark, is incredibly kind and helpful.
If anything wasn’t perfect on this trip, it was just the weather — definitely not the campsite’s fault! We’re already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.
(Part of me doesn’t want to recommend it too much because it’s already popular and I want to keep it for myself 😄)

Mt Black Station is a wonderful place to camp, with heaps of space, beautiful scenery and lots to explore both on the property and in the local area. We stayed for 6 nights and could have easily spent longer.
Manfred is a very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable host, and has done an incredible job of restoring habitat on the property. We saw an amazing number of bird species given the hot, dry weather, and even spotted a Yellow-footed Antechinus.

Penzance was a great spot to camp. Chris was really accomodating and responsive to messages before we arrived. The bathroom was way more luxury than we are used to when camping! A flushing toilet, sink with running water, hand soap and hand towel were very well received. The campsite itself is really roomy, it easily accommodated a couple tents and a caravan. It is also quite a private spot on the property and there are some shady spots for hanging up a hammock. The firepit is well equipped for cooking over o flame too. Chris gave us a tour of his workshop which was really interesting. We’d happily return.

This place is absolute magic! We will 100% be coming back. We didn't know Lancefield before but have always loved visiting Kyneton, Woodend and Daylesford which are close by.
The sites were so good - plenty of space, firewood and the lakeside view is perfection.
The shower and toilets were excellently maintained too.
The eggs there are worth getting - so delicious. Hopefully next time we'll be able to get some honey.
Jemilia was such a helpful and responsive host whenever we sent a query and Aaron the farm manager was an absolute champion.
loads of local wildlife around - we spotted a wombat, echidna and loads of kangaroos whilst there and the bird choir was something special at sunset.
Our 10 YO took his bike and loved all the trails around the campsite so take bikes if that's your thing!
Oh and if you like a local beer, highly recommend the Lost Watering Hole.
