My fourth time here in two months, just lovely. So private and peaceful.
Such a welcome rural secluded spot, which I didn’t have to share with anyone. So good. Really appreciated the concrete pad for the camper. Jason was welcoming, and an awesome help with getting me re-hitched, being relatively green at it. Thanks heaps Jason.

Heaven - a beautiful rolling field with plenty of shade to sit and read. Flat area for camping with a camping toilet provided. Easy to access, couldn't be more private! I hope to come back soon.

We had the best night staying at Roy’s Rise and Jason was the funniest bugger around!! Very hospitable and came for a drink and a few laughs after we asked him to join us. Had us in stitches of laughter the entire time. The camp site is perfect with a great sized pad for our camper, a decent fire pit, beautiful views and a short drive to Ballarat. Thank you for an awesome stay! Love the Red Beaver Crew 🦫🦫🦫
Fantastic sole use site. Concrete slab for van or our kids used it as downball comp area :) beautiful countryside - heaps of acres for kids to explore and play - will come back again !

This place was absolutely amazing, with a large space big enough to fit a trailer/ caravan and an amazing morning view of the property and the cows!! The cows were adorable and so curious 100% would stay again
Great location, a short trip out of Ballarat. It was a nice and private area, great to have a level concrete pad to park the van. Access to a fire bit and also a toilet. Jason replied to a message about where to find the key quickly which was great. Couple of inquisitive cows too which was nice for entertainment :)

First time camping with a toddler and it felt nice to be alone enjoying the campsite. Amazing view. Abit hard to find it initially but Jason was pleasant and friendly to explain everything. Would definitely be returning!

Very peaceful and easy to get to. Nice and close to Ballarat for exploring.
Roys Rise was a magnificent place to stay. Amongst the rolling hills and cows! The pad for the caravan was dead level, and the fenced off area with a fire pit was a great touch. Very little road noise, with only a minor road near by, and close to Ballarat if you need to duck into town to grab supplies.

Nice spot, the cows were great company! The firepit and wood we’re a great touch on a chill night. And so nice to see lots of Kangaroos, and wake up to the sound of kookaburras.
We were camping in a tent and hiked in. If you’re also on foot be aware that you’ll need to bring all your water with you.

Great little spot just outside of town, but backs up to parks so you wouldn't know. Jason is a good host, went above and behond getting is extra wood so we can keep fire going in cold weather.
Great camp very private with only one site.
Just the cows and Kangaroos.
Very convenient to Ballarat only 10mins away
Well set up with a level site and fire pit.Must be fully self contained.
Great spot to relax and escape the city, a good setup with plenty of the local roos about, and a few cattle to keep you company. Will be back!
