Camping with dogs.
Rick and Julie’s places is heaven. A beautiful camp site that has it all… views, seclusion, water and welcoming hosts. My border collies loved the freedom of the farm and dams to swim in. The property borders a state forest which offers great day hikes.

Woodlands Wonderland
This is our second visit to Rick and Julie’s Woodlands site and it was as good as the first trip. Arrival night was pretty wet but stayed dry and the remainder was clear skies. Plenty of wood to keep warm, Rick popped by to make sure we had enough and stayed for a beer.
Enjoyed the backroads to some of our favourite wineries: Mount Avoca, Blue Pyrenees and a bit further away Taltarni. Boys 4WD’d to the top of Mount Sugarloaf and Mount Avoca.
Looking forward to coming back.

Thanks Rick, loved the Woodlands site, solid ground to enter the site. Fire pit was great for the cold mornings and nights. The cows were well behaved, the bird life and wildlife around the water reservoir were a delight. Thanks for directing and meeting us on-site. Cheers Dave and Fran

Woodlands @ Mount Sugarloaf
We stayed in the Woodlands camp site over the long weekend. The location is perfect for exploring the Pyrenees vineyards or the bush behind the property. Fabulous property, great hosts.
