There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more.
Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience.
Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes.
Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's.
Amplified music is not allowed.
Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park, it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath, wattles and tea tree provide a pleasant backdrop in season.
It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two on the property, with black wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often seen grazing on pasture in the evening. The mud turrets are the home of endangered land yabbies and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Birds watchers will enjoy a variety of bird life that inhabit the area including eagle hawks, fairy wrens, kookaburras, rosellas, parrots and yellow tailed black cockatoos when in season.
The area is a popular spot for hikers with the start of the Mountain Creek trail only a few kms down Gordons Bridge Road and serious cyclists train regularly, on Mount Slide, especially on the weekend. For the serious wine lover the property is within 15km of the Yarra Valley Wine Growing area with many wineries offering tastings.

Guests are welcome to visit the Tea Room, open 10am – 5pm Wednesday through Sunday. Our daily menu contains a selection of delicious cakes, devonshire tea, toasted sandwiches, specialty pies and weekly specials and of course, tea and coffee. Breakfast is served all day.
Browse in the galleries or wander around the beautiful gardens which have trees more than 100 years old, some listed on the National Trust register. Meet our 2 Dromkeen alpacas Hannah and Lilly.
***Please note, we are a rubbish free campsite, so campers are asked to take their rubbish with them. Dromkeen has very clean toilets, but a reminder there are NO showers. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yeramba Sunset Campsite 3 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly camping experience.
Anneke is an amazing host, so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely caring. She came to greet us each day and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The property is beautiful, well maintained, and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The campsite itself was spacious and peaceful, with plenty for the kids to enjoy. There are slides, a cubby house, swings, a trampoline, monkey bars, and lots of space to explore.
One of the highlights for our family was feeding the animals. Our son absolutely adored Ben the alpaca and formed such a special bond with him that he’s still asking when we can go back to visit! Our daughter loved the fairy garden along the beautiful nature walk, and both children enjoyed the bush golf game scattered throughout the trail.
There are also dams for fishing, which added another fun activity for the kids. The location is fantastic, just a short 15-minute drive to the charming town of Daylesford and around 30 minutes to Ballarat. We spent a day at Sovereign Hill, which the kids absolutely loved.
This is a beautiful, peaceful property with plenty to keep children entertained while still offering a relaxing getaway for adults. We can’t wait to return! 😊🌅🏕️

Pebble Ridge was a lovely relaxing location. Very quite with only a little road noise.
Site #2 (where we stayed) provided great sunrise views and also views across the valley.
Nathan was a wonderful host - very responsive and helpful with all questions/requests.
We went with two families (and caravans) and both fitted easily on site #2.

We had a fantastic weekend camping at Dromkeen and appreciated Bernadette’s warm hospitality. While there were other campers at the campsite, everyone had their own space and was friendly and respectful. We particularly liked the campers toilet block which was well maintained and clean. They also run a cafe at the gallery, have their scones - you won’t regret it 😋

We loved our stay at Somerville Park, there are several different areas to camp on the property all in beautiful peaceful surroundings.
Instructions to get to our site were very easy to follow and our hosts Sheryl and Bec were very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved this place 💛 10/10!
The grounds are spacious, with plenty of space and beautiful views. As a female solo camper, I felt very safe staying here overnight, which was really important to me. My dog had the best time too, enjoying several long walks around the campsite and even meeting some animals along the way.
The facilities were excellent, the toilets were spotless, and both the cafe and the garden area behind it were beautifully decorated and so welcoming. Bernadette was a wonderful host, warm and genuinely welcoming, and the other cafe staff were just as lovely. I had two meals during my stay, and both were absolutely delicious.
I’d highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!

Lovely, peaceful site in a beautiful location. We really appreciated the firewood provided! The site was quiet and relaxing, with gorgeous sunrises each morning. A great spot to unwind and enjoy nature. We'd happily stay again!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very neat, clean toilet, friendly dogs,. Poewer, water. All the basics are covered for camper.
Friendly host, didn't needb anything else.
Very happy to come back again.

Fantastic spot for a group camp, site 1 had plenty of flat sections for a group of 8. Absolutely adored feeding the goats and sheep. Tamara is a legend!

Exceptional stay! Glen & Kim’s property is absolutely beautiful with lots of hidden corners.
The site was very private. The camp fire and port-a-loo were great additions. We loved the horses on the paddock behind our property.
There was a lovely farm shop across the road where we were able to buy eggs, jam, fruit and ice cream. Kim’s home baked bread was a highlight.
We will be back.
