We have space in the large carpark for vans, motorhomes, or alternatively the horse paddock for tents and campers. Ample toilets available. Dogs permitted by advance request.
Guests are welcome to visit the Tea Room, open 10am – 5pm Wednesday through Sunday. Our daily menu contains a selection of delicious cakes, devonshire tea, toasted sandwiches, specialty pies and weekly specials and of course, tea and coffee. Breakfast is served all day.
Browse in the galleries or wander around the beautiful gardens which have trees more than 100 years old, some listed on the National Trust register. Meet our 2 Dromkeen alpacas Hannah and Lilly.
***Please note, we are a rubbish free campsite, so campers are asked to take their rubbish with them. Dromkeen has very clean toilets, but a reminder there are NO showers. Also all sites are unpowered, but upon request prior to arrival a powered spot may be available at an extra $10 a day. Please ring to verify this. During summer months because of fire restrictions we also remind campers there should be NO outside campfires.

Somerville Park is a 500acre property at Fosterville, 20mins from Bendigo. There are a variety of campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. We also have 2 newly developed powered sites for your convenience. Please note, all toilet waste is strictly to be taken off the property. Campfires are permitted in provided fire-pits or your own portable metal fire-pit out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times. Some sites also provide chairs and table settings for your convenience.
The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property.
The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away.
The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). 91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park, it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath, wattles and tea tree provide a pleasant backdrop in season.
It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two on the property, with black wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often seen grazing on pasture in the evening. The mud turrets are the home of endangered land yabbies and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Birds watchers will enjoy a variety of bird life that inhabit the area including eagle hawks, fairy wrens, kookaburras, rosellas, parrots and yellow tailed black cockatoos when in season.
The area is a popular spot for hikers with the start of the Mountain Creek trail only a few kms down Gordons Bridge Road and serious cyclists train regularly, on Mount Slide, especially on the weekend. For the serious wine lover the property is within 15km of the Yarra Valley Wine Growing area with many wineries offering tastings.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Somerville Park is a 500acre property at Fosterville, 20mins from Bendigo. There are a variety of campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. We also have 2 newly developed powered sites for your convenience. Please note, all toilet waste is strictly to be taken off the property. Campfires are permitted in provided fire-pits or your own portable metal fire-pit out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times. Some sites also provide chairs and table settings for your convenience.
The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property.
The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away.
The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park, it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath, wattles and tea tree provide a pleasant backdrop in season.
It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two on the property, with black wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often seen grazing on pasture in the evening. The mud turrets are the home of endangered land yabbies and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Birds watchers will enjoy a variety of bird life that inhabit the area including eagle hawks, fairy wrens, kookaburras, rosellas, parrots and yellow tailed black cockatoos when in season.
The area is a popular spot for hikers with the start of the Mountain Creek trail only a few kms down Gordons Bridge Road and serious cyclists train regularly, on Mount Slide, especially on the weekend. For the serious wine lover the property is within 15km of the Yarra Valley Wine Growing area with many wineries offering tastings.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

We had a pleasant stay at Mountain Flower Farm, right next to Kinglake, about an hour from Melbourne, and dog-friendly. The property had a peaceful vibe with an immersive morning mist, which was a lovely experience. The price maaaaybe a bit steep given the fire pit being offline (fire ban), and the property being a bit scrappy in places. The number of horse flies was a bit of a surprise too! As experienced hosts ourselves, we see it as a budget-friendly option with room for improvement, a very viable option if needing access to Melbourne or Kinglake.

We were met on arrival by Joel who told us we were the only ones staying and we could choose whatever spot we wished. We chose a spot by the dam. The views over the great dividing range were awesome even though it was in the middle of summer. We will be coming back in winter and it should be spectacular.
We got to pat the horse, the sheep also came over to the fence for a pat. Joel and Caity have chickens so you can also purchase eggs, which we did.
The stay was very peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable.
We highly recommend Eden Pines and are already planning our return visit.

I had a great weekend camping here, even with the weather swinging from very hot to quite cold. It’s a fantastic location with beautiful views overlooking Mt Sugarloaf and Gisborne. Bernadette was a wonderful host and made everyone feel welcome. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
There were several families and groups staying over the weekend, but it never felt cramped — sites were well spaced and everyone had their own space. The art gallery and café were open, which was a real bonus. It was great to escape the 40-degree heat for a while and enjoy a quality coffee and a delicious vanilla slice.

Nice, quiet area with a large clear space amongst the trees. Instructions to get there are clear and easy to follow. Fire pits available though it was a total fire ban when we went so didn’t use. Ground is quite hard with not too much grass and soft spots available so just make sure to bring a sleeping mat (which you should probably always use) and you’ll be good. Good chance we come back in the future!

Everything is as described, flat site with shade if required. Waterhole is amazing, it was hot so well needed. Lucy was a delight and very welcoming, appreciated the updates on smokeshaze from distant fires.
Wouldn't recommend towing out of the sites without a 4x4,.
Overall very pleased with our stay and would certainly recommend.

Lucy was more than welcoming on our arrival, taking us down to our site. The waterhole was amazing and so refreshing!! We will definitely be back- not so far out of town to get somewhere that helps switch off from reality for a moment!! Thanks guys!!

We do a fair bit of camping around regional Victoria and this place is our favourite spot to date!
Grace was there to welcome us on arrival. She showed us a few spots we had to chose from to set up camp. She also gave us a run-down of the facilities and where we could swim. We were fortunate to have the entire paddock to ourselves, including the huge rotunda, equipped with a bbq, fireplace and plenty of furniture. It was much too hot to light the fire but we'll definitely be back to make the most of it in cooler weather.
There was also a demountable bathroom, set up with plenty of loos and showers. Hot water with great pressure too.
We spent our afternoons patting the friendliest horses and floating on our inflatables in the dam.
The dam was a small walk from our camping spot. We also played a lot of frizbee with Spot, the dog. A total legend!
We also went for a 25 minute drive to a winery called Philip Lobley Wines. They do wood fired pizzas on the weekend and were definitely something to write home about 👌🏻 worth messaging ahead to book. Wines were great also!
Another highlight was seeing the incredible wildlife on Grace’s Land. Plenty of beautiful birds and we even saw an Echidna!
10/10 experience. It's a scorching summer weekend atm but I can imagine this place being equally as magical in winter. We'll also need to come back to check out the Moto Guzzi museum!

Weekend Trip to Silver Creek Escape
Clara and Caleb have set up a little oasis at the front of their property. Whilst the house is in view of the campsite, you are very much left to enjoy the spacious camp area to yourself. The Silver Creek is just across the road and they are right next to the entrance to Kinglake NP.
You will be the only campers there and can enjoy tank water, power and a very clean compostable toilet. A campfire is also set up for use and you can purchase wood, early check-ins, eggs and sourdough bread.
Highly recommended for people who really want to get away to a quiet secluded area.
