Beautiful property in beautiful surroundings. Easy to access from Melbourne, with stunning views nearby. The site is a bit awkward (2 potential areas - one in the path by the creek, the other in a wider clearing but steps back from the creek), but it worked great for us with 2 tents. The dog was having the time of her life exploring the surroundings and getting teased by the fish in the dam. Will be back!
Just be aware it’s quite close to the road so you will hear/see some local cars, and we heard a lot of shooting right next door. Still a great spot just an hour from Melbourne!

A lovely place, really enjoyed being at this place. It’s bird lovers heaven- dozens of varieties spotted. There is some vehicle and farm noise about but plenty of quiet and bird song in between. The camp site is quite close to the road. I hope to visit again.

What a great spot! The views from top of the hill are unbelievable. Then escape to a quiet and private camping location. Our dogs absolutely loved the dam. We think is this our new favourite and will be back for sure!

Great spot. Easy drive, really clear instructions, and utter privacy. Feels like a rare treat these days to have a campsite all to yourself, so cant recommend enough. Really beautiful birdlike here too. Just watch out for snakes!

Great little spot next to a dam, private and serene. Bit tight of a spot, couldn't do more than a few people. Very scenic area. Happy with our stay tho I feel it's a tad pricey for what it is, the layout was a little awkward and no water/power/toilet which you may usually find in this price range.
Ultimately a very pleasant weekend, and Paul was very helpful and friendly to deal with

What a sweet little spot. The birdlife was a highlight, as was floating in the dam on a tube in the sun! Thanks for a sweet stay, I’d definitely return.

This is a great spot for a weekend away from Melbourne with a pooch. It's easy access, plenty of shade, beautiful large clean dam for swimming. There are a few local cars that go by and I have heard a bit of shooting both times I've camped here. Apart from that, private, quiet and very pretty.

Great spot and very private.
Nice area to explore and do walking trips, dogs loved it. Unfortunatley could stay only 1 night instead of two due to really heavy rain (our set up is not that advanced…) But would book it again.

We had booked in advance and it ended up a very rainy weekend. The property was not accessible with a camper van. The only place flat enough to park it if we could would be at the waters edge which doesn’t work with kids. A very very beautiful property but not a great spot for campers or with younger kids. Paul was amazing to work with and offered us another weekend with clearer weather. 🌦️

Great place to relax. Quiet and private. Will be back.
We loved staying at the property, quiet with plenty of space for the dog to explore and a dam to swim in. Lots of birds and wildlife and we were lucky with beautiful weather. Plenty of dry wood available and a great spot to set up camp.
Beautiful spot. Alive with wildlife. Could hear some local traffic and lots of planes, but that was not a deterrent. Great star gazing, lucky enough to see the ISS. Cozy space. Would definitely come back.

Peaceful spot in the valley with sugar gliders and waves of native birdlife coming through. Had a great time in this rustic spot. Loads of available firewood and I was amazed at the complete lack of flies and mozzies, so close to the big dam. Little doggo had a ball. Brilliant!!!

Great private and quiet spot camping amongst the wildlife; kangaroos in the distance, wallabies drinking from the dam, wombats and an abundance of birdlife to keep you entertained. Heaps of blackberries to snack on around the raised fire pit, sadly too hot for us the use.

Great private spot with water to cool off next to and easy access from the road. Lots of birds and nature to watch situated in a valley. Would recommend for a small group to relax.
Super quiet and peaceful! Beautiful spot and the dam was lovely. Would recommend to anyone that was looking for some solitude. Well worth the stay!

Great spot next to a dam and close enough to town and local attractions. Was great to just relax. Dog absolutely loved swimming in the dam and wandering around. Kids enjoyed the campfire, floating around on inflatables on the Dam, and watching the duck’s swimming. Dam was too muddy to bathe in so after 3 days we were looking forward to a shower. Enough space to spread out and camp and set up tents and marquee.

Spent the Christmas break here, and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of privacy and open space for the dog to run wild. Loved the firepit by the dam with its water views. Took a little inflatable raft and had the best time rowing around. So many new sniffs for the dog - Definitely coming back for round two!

We had a lovely 2 nights camping at Quiet Dam! We stayed in our Jayco Swan, which fit perfectly, however anything bigger might be a struggle to maneuver. The first night we had a lot of rain, which meant our site stayed very soggy for the weekend. However that was the only downside! A beautiful relaxing weekend with nature. The kids loved playing on the hammocks amoungst the trees. Beautiful walks up the hill, spotting loads of kangaroos. We will definitely be back, in the summer ☀️
