There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Amplified music is not allowed. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

Our walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. Below the Homestead, in the valley, along the banks of Deep Creek, are four designated and generously sized camp sites, offering two types of camping. All only suitable for 4WD or SUV access. - Sambar : one larger caravan or two tents / rooftop vehicles site, located on Deep Creek (half-) island. A premier site. - Red : one larger caravan or two tents / rooftop vehicles, located next to Sambar. - Fallow : a one family tent site, or two small hiking tents. - Hog : one hiking tent camp with limited vehicle access.

Gravelled walking paths across the site and natural art work to explore. A large variety of birds and kangaroos can be seen at the property. There is a picnic table at each site and a shared wash station that has access to fresh drinking water. No hot water available or power. This site is for individuals with fully contained vehicles/caravans. There are no toilets or showers here. The hosts live at the back of the property. You can expect to see plenty of kangaroos and native birdlife when you visit us at Kickback Corrimal Camping. With great views and a tranquil setting where you can enjoy the serenity of nature. Enjoy a bush walk on the property or take a longer walk to the goldfields town of Castlemaine, where you can stroll around & enjoy this diverse town. The Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park has many scenic walks that reveal mines and other interesting artifacts from our gold mining past. For those looking for more adventure there are plenty cycling and walking tracks to explore within the National park. If you are into Mountain biking there is a trail 15 min away (by car) that leads all the way to Harcourt. We are also within easy reach of the Castlemaine to Maldon Trail which runs parallel to the Victorian Goldfields Tourist Train railway. Campers must have their own camping toilet and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are allowed outside of restrictions. Pets are welcome.

We had an amazing relaxing time here. Grace and her family are such warm and welcoming hosts, happy to help, share stories, checked in to make sure all is well, recommended good spots for hikes, sunsets etc. Best eggs ive had! The property is stunning , clean clear air, rolling hills, no matter the weather the energy was perfect. A very special spot, Nature at its finest, a serene escape indeed. Facilities were on point, very clean, hot showers, excelent toilets, good shade from the trees, spacious sites, plenty of privacy. Highly recommend.
