Approximately 1 acre of private, mowed and maintained grassy campground amongst a 25 acre property. With only 1 booking taken at a time, you will have the whole area to yourself, your privacy is very important to us. With creek frontage and access, creek is seasonal with water most of the year round, feel free to explore the property. The night sky is not to be missed on a clear night. Plenty of native wildlife, including a wide range of birds and kangaroos, there is also a friendly mob of sheep who will come and say hello. A fire pit is provided and fire wood is available for purchase. *STRICTLY* No firewood is to be collected/gathered/cut down from the property. We ask that you leave the place as you found it. You can BYO firewood. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self contained and take all waste including rubbish with them. Strictly no dumping of waste or greywater on the property. Pets are welcome, but they MUST remain on the property to protect wildlife, our livestock, neighbours livestock and for their own safety. A short 15 minute drive to Bendigo CBD and 25 minutes to Heathcote, there are lots of activities to see and do including nearby boutique wineries, breweries, and cafes. 10 minutes to Lake Eppalock for fishing, boating & kayaking and there are nearby National/State Parks to visit, with the popular O’Keefe Rail Trail within 10 minutes and Axedale golf club around the corner if you fancy a round of golf. During total fire bans & fire danger periods camp fires are not permitted. Please adhere to the check in & out times unless prearranged with us. Great spot with a nice mix of shaded and flat open green areas for the little ones to run around. It's very secluded and quiet, yet so close to Bendigo, Lake Eppalock etc. It's so peaceful in the morning, cooking breakfast and listening to the Kookaburras and Magpies singing. Looking forward to staying again soon!

We had a great weekend camping at Emma's property in Axedale - such a beautiful and lush green site, right by the creek. Both kid and fur-kid found lots to explore at the campground, and enjoyed sending barky boats down the creek. The site was super spacious and it was just such a pleasant place to spend a couple of nights.

Had a wonderful time camping at Axedale Farm Stay Creekside. The area for campers is set among the gum trees along the banks of the Axe Creek. The site is nice and flat, private with a great fire pit. Was so nice to hear the call of the Powerful Owl during the night, the cicadas after a small amount of rain and the cockatoos and kookaburras. So close to Brndigo and the local State Parks. Highly recommend... Thanks Emma

Campsite was great. It's a really great and spacious area. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play and plenty of room for our large group. We commented that the only thing that would make this spot better was if the creek had water (it was dry at the time). Host communicated well and even though we were on her property, she and her family were very unintrusive and left us to our own devices. Its also close enough to Bendigo for supplies and entertainment and only 15 mins from the Lake Eppalock swimming area. Great spot and would stay again.

Easy access, good clean flat spot, creek was down on water so couldn't use but minimal mossie's. Great for 5 or so more groups big space.

We loved staying at Emma’s campground, quiet, shady, all to ourselves with some seriously great stars. Great fire pit, great hosts, close to Bendigo and surrounding areas but nicely hidden away .. will be back for sure!

Perfect flat clean campsite with a fire pit, so much room to set up how you like and so peaceful. Emma is an amazing host making directions easy. Great camp if you enjoy camping but like privacy as well.

Great quiet spot in the red gums. The site is flat and grassy compete with kangaroos and pre prepared camp fire. Communication was excellent and highly Axedale farm stay.

Emma’s spot was perfect for us. Really private and heaps of room. It had been pretty dry leading up to it but wasn’t dusty at all. Great for kids and close to shops. And had firewood available l for purchase. We’ll be back.

Clean, flat, private and peaceful. This was the perfect spot for us to base ourselves for a couple of days while exploring Bendigo and surrounds. Emma was a great host and looked after us with firewood etc. The dogs had a lovely time being free to roam.
