Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking.

The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm

91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park, it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath, wattles and tea tree provide a pleasant backdrop in season.
It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two on the property, with black wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often seen grazing on pasture in the evening. The mud turrets are the home of endangered land yabbies and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Birds watchers will enjoy a variety of bird life that inhabit the area including eagle hawks, fairy wrens, kookaburras, rosellas, parrots and yellow tailed black cockatoos when in season.
The area is a popular spot for hikers with the start of the Mountain Creek trail only a few kms down Gordons Bridge Road and serious cyclists train regularly, on Mount Slide, especially on the weekend. For the serious wine lover the property is within 15km of the Yarra Valley Wine Growing area with many wineries offering tastings.

A group of us stayed at the Cozy Pozy Caravan and Site 2 of Tamara's farm for 3 nights over the new year. We had a great time and Tamara was a fantastic host! Site 2 has a bit of a slope, but there were enough flat areas to comfortably set up 2 tents, a gazebo, and a campervan (with levelling ramps). The camping area is open, but surrounded by beautiful trees with heaps of birdlife. Also friendly goats and sheep that were super cute! Would recommend staying here, and hope to come back!

Absolutely gorgeous views! A very easy drive into the town of Broadford....enjoyed lunch and excellent coffee at Country Soul Cafe, and the bakery next to IGA supermarket....(If you eat gluten-free, the bakery had some GF veggie pies, yum!) Hiked to top of Mt Piper, saw an echidna. The camp site was very peaceful, and we watched kangaroos in the paddocks each evening. We loved our stay. We decided to leave a tiny bit earlier than planned due to high winds (to be expected on top of a hill), so the only thing is to keep an eye on the weather during your stay.

Tamara's hospitality and van both were amazing. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our trip as it was too hot when we were there and due to it being holiday season majority of the places were closed. But Kinglake is pretty and the Tamara's place is pretty. Our son had a great time with Goats and Sheep.
It is great for couples but maybe a bit challenging with small kids.

We had a beautiful time camping at Sunset Hill for 3 nights. The location was perfect, very quiet, no other people in sight. Great open space for the dogs to explore and a little dam not far for them to cool down. Added bonus being able to have them off lead and feel safe that they couldn't go too far. The built in fire pit was a nice addition. Highly recommend if you're looking to escape the city with only a short drive for a few nights. Perched on top of a hill for great sunsets! We will be back!

This was a last-minute booking made on Boxing Day, so options were very limited. We took a gamble on Farm Fun Day, which had only one previous review. We followed Sophias directions and arrived at around 2pm, found a nice flat spot to set up our tent. There was a large group of people in the main house who played music loudly, but they were mindful to switch it off at around 8pm. There's also quite a bit of road noise. Toilet was basic but clean. Hosts were friendly. All in all, it's a good value stay just a few kms outside Warburton and I would consider coming back in future.

This is such a lovely and peaceful place to camp. One side of the hill that you can see the sunrise and the other you can see the sunset. Surprisingly a whole lot of sheep appeared at dust and disappeared into the night .It was again reappeared and slowly disappeared down the hill. it was a nice feeling and long lasting memory for me .Unfortunately i did not have any member or friends with me at the time. I do not might to come back again. I give it a thump up. Thank you

Great cozy little spot for us fair weather campers. It was a perfect spot for my two city kids, 3 & 9 yrs old. A simplistic night away. All cooking utilities supplied. Just take your bedding. Easy!
The kids loved feeding the goats and lighting the small camp fire.
