There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith. Pitch your completely self-sufficient sleeping quarters on our peaceful, flat, 53 acre property which is a 12 minute drive from Kyneton and Woodend, both with a fabulous selection of delightful restaurants, cafes, pubs, wine bars. There is a local taxi service if guests would like to go out for lunch or dinner with wine and/or cocktails at some of the delicious cafes, restaurants & bars: in Kyneton we love Little Swallow Cafe, Home Grown, Miss M's Lounge, Dhaba, Fook Shing, and Botanik Balcony. In Woodend we love Bangkok House, Tram Place, Las Margaritas, 600 Above, Milko, Fox in the Chamber & Gindu. Kangaroos often bounce through the property at dusk & dawn not to mention stunning sunrises & sunsets. There is a lovely quiet bike ride or walk along our road with minimal traffic. Campfires are allowed subject to local fire restrictions & must be fully extinguished before you turn in for the night. Please search for the CFA 'Fire Danger Period: Can I or Can't I?' which has all of the appropriate information. Each site has a fire pit which you can use providing it is not a total fire ban. Firewood is available at a cost to you of $50 per wheelbarrow load which will easily cover two nights. This is the main source of fuel for our home so if you burn the wood, we have paid to have split on our property we’ll have to replace it to keep our family warm. You are not permitted to use a chainsaw on our property. We have 3 separate camping locations on the property. All 3 sites are easily accessible for RVs and camp trailers. We are NOT a commercial campsite and, as such, you must be fully self-contained for power, water, showers, sewage, refuse disposal, etc. Rubbish cannot be left on our property.

We are apologise but we are currently closed for visitors. Whether it is a weekend away or a stop over on your travels, we welcome you to our farm. We are the perfect spot for your trip to the Otways and great ocean road. We are only a few short minutes from Otways and short trip to coastal towns. You can enjoy a day in the Otways or great ocean road and come back to your secured camp spot on our farm. You will also get to experience farm life up close. Meet the animals or just relax and enjoy the space. We have 40 acres for you to wander around and enjoy. Collect the eggs or pat the donkeys, Meet the cows and guinea fowl, or enjoy a campfire (weather and Fire Danger period permitting). All our paddocks are treed, providing shelter to visitors and animals. We now have our gypsy van for the adventurous. Most importantly we know how important it is to provide adequate space between campers so you will not be crammed in - our promise to you. Visitors are more than welcome to bring the kids bikes to ride around on. You may like to bring the kite or outdoor games, however we do not allow motor activities that may disturb the animals. There is Barwon Park Mansion, owned by the National Trust nearby that you can take a peek through or enjoy the river walks in the town center, less than 2km away. Shops, including a supermarket, are in town if you forgot something. There are also some collectable shops you can visit. If you are trying to book and have difficulties, try instant booking. Guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

Excellent Trout Fishing in large dams on property. Rainbow and Brown trout stocked in both dams. Good sized fish. Old , Rustic Bush Hut at main campsite which has verandah, wooden floor, and can be used for sleeping in or as general purpose area. Excellent yabby dams on property for the kids and adults who want to do some yabbying. Also eels in a another couple of dams on property, so it certainly has something for all anglers. 550 acre property which has 3 different seasonal creeks flowing through it. Six excellent hideaway Camping sites to choose from. Some close to the water. Large sites which can handle 40 campers per site. Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith. We are family (small dog friendly, you will need to contain them), with the space for multiple families to camp together. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR NOISY AND/OR DRUNKEN PARTYING!!!! Come to Carlsruhe in the Macedon Ranges & stay close to iconic Hanging Rock. Take a drive up & explore beautiful Bendigo (1hr), duck across to experience delightful Daylesford & wander around the wonderful wineries of the Macedon Ranges. Pitch your completely self-sufficient sleeping quarters on our peaceful, flat, 53 acre property which is a 12 minute drive from Kyneton and Woodend, both with a fabulous selection of delightful restaurants, cafes, pubs, wine bars. There is a local taxi service if guests would like to go out for lunch or dinner with wine and/or cocktails at some of the delicious cafes, restaurants & bars: in Kyneton we love Little Swallow Cafe, Home Grown, Miss M's Lounge, Dhaba, Fook Shing, and Botanik Balcony. In Woodend we love Bangkok House, Tram Place, Las Margaritas, 600 Above, Milko, Fox in the Chamber & Gindu. Kangaroos often bounce through the property at dusk & dawn not to mention stunning sunrises & sunsets. There is a lovely quiet bike ride or walk along our road with minimal traffic. Campfires are allowed subject to local fire restrictions & must be fully extinguished before you turn in for the night. Please search for the CFA 'Fire Danger Period: Can I or Can't I?' which has all of the appropriate information. Each site has a fire pit which you can use providing it is not a total fire ban. Firewood is available at a cost to you of $50 per wheelbarrow load which will easily cover two nights. This is the main source of fuel for our home so if you burn the wood, we have paid to have split on our property we’ll have to replace it to keep our family warm. You are not permitted to use a chainsaw on our property. We have 3 separate camping locations on the property. All 3 sites are easily accessible for RVs and camp trailers. We are NOT a commercial campsite and, as such, you must be fully self-contained for power, water, showers, sewage, refuse disposal, etc. Rubbish cannot be left on our property.

Our stay at this site was an awesome adventure. Paul and his family were so accommodating. Paul made sure we were stocked with firewood for both days of our stay and his wife the boss drove us into town so we could attend the Spilt milk festival. He even offered to walk us back to our camp site when the uber dropped us off at the gate after our night. The camp has a shower and a toilet which are well maintained and the sites are very well spaced so we felt comfortable in our own area. We felt so safe on this stay and very well looked after. Will definitely be booking in a trip back soon. Thank you for having us!

As we drove onto the property, I instantly felt like I could breathe — it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Creek Flat site, which was perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The host was very friendly and happily answered all our questions, which made the stay even easier. The property is large, with plenty of wildlife and farm animals wandering around, adding to the charm. We only stayed for two nights but truly wished we could have stayed longer.
