**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop. If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong. *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Ellesmere Park Farm Stay was inspired by our trip following the stock routes of NSW by horse drawn vehicles. Many people commented they would love to do that, which gave us the idea of sharing our amazing journey with others. Our camping area is a lot more comfortable than we endured with a well set up camp kitchen, green lawns and friendly animals all in one area. Our mascot, "Lucky lamb", is an attraction all of her own and who else can say "Kevin bacon" lives here! Our farm stay offers a large grassed camping area with camp kitchen. We are located within easy driving distance of Greens lake and the Waranga basin for fishing, boating and swimming activities and only 15km from Rushworth and the historic Whroo township. Campers are welcome to join us as we feed the animals. Fires and pets allowed (read Listing rules). There is only one toilet and one shower available, it is recommended that campers are self sufficient

The Loddon River, while narrower in this area compared to other parts, winds its way through the landscape, offering a charming and peaceful setting. Designated campfire spots with firewood provided (fire restrictions apply from November to March—please check with us). Pet-friendly policy—bring your furry friends along, just keep them controlled and clean up after them. What You’ll Need to Bring: This is a back-to-basics experience. You'll need to be fully self-sufficient, with your own camping toilet and waste disposal system. We follow a strict Leave No Trace policy to preserve the pristine natural environment for everyone to enjoy. Local Attractions: The charming town of Boort, just 20 minutes away, boasts a well-stocked IGA, an award-winning butcher, two cozy cafes, and water sports on Lake Boort. Kerang, only 30 minutes north, is your gateway to the stunning Kerang Lakes and wetlands. We are a scenic tourist park located on the Loddon River in the heart of Kerang. We offer wifi, cabins, pet-friendly cabins, and powered sites on the river. We have an open-style camp kitchen and our amenities block hosts a generous amount of showers and toilets. Our prime location makes it easy to access all that Kerang offers. Just out the front of the park is the amazing local playground and skate park perfect for any age child or child at heart. Located just outside our entrance is the museum. Our property features 4-5 acres of Murray River frontage and river vistas. We are located a convenient 5 minutes from the township of Moama. Our private, riverfront secluded campsites are large and clean. All 6 sites are riverfront with power and fresh water supplied. They are relatively flat, level grass/dirt areas with gum trees peppered throughout the site for shade in summer. We can accommodate any type and size of camping vehicle and 2WDs. Park your caravan or pitch a tent and relax. For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts. Guests will have access to a toilet, fire drums and cut your own firewood is available. Please read the Campground conditions of entry: VERY IMPORTANT- this campground features River Gum Trees. Take care when choosing where to park and camp. Always look up and do not park or camp under overhanging branches, assess the site first. River gums can drop branches without warning. We will not be held responsible for loss, damage or injury from trees falling it is an act of nature not of negligence. Your site assessment and safety is first and foremost, and please if, you’re not happy with the safety of area please let us know, all monies will be returned to you. We cannot tell when or if a limb may fall from a tree, it can be caused by heat, wind, lightning, rain or age. - Access time after 1pm, and Depart time before 11am, unless organised with manager/owner. Please message us. - All camping rubbish must be placed in skip or taken away - Campfires permitted in fire drums only, and only outside of fire ban season. - Firewood can be cut and collected from 2 large piles at the campsite. -Bring your own chainsaw to cut firewood - For your safety you must stay in fenced area of the campground. - Guests are welcome to use the toilet on site. - Please note there is no dump point on the property for your camping toilet. WD Heritage Acres is a place steeped in history and charm, dating back to 1880 when the homestead was first established. Over the years, the property has undergone thoughtful restoration to preserve its timeless beauty. The homestead, originally built in 1880 and expanded in 1904, stands as a testament to a bygone era. Surrounding it, you'll find a traditional garden that reflects the heritage of the property. Our small farm is home to a lovely herd of Angus cattle and a flock of cheerful chooks, as well as numerous other friendly pets. The historic ambiance extends beyond the homestead to our property's unique buildings. These include an 1880 log cabin blacksmith shop, an 1880 log cabin fowl house, a 1904 workers' cottage, and a 1904 shearing shed. Please be mindful to take all waste with you when you leave. Furry friends are welcome, but we kindly request they remain on a leash. Minmi is a 4200 acre irrigated stud and commercial beef cattle farm. We have some beautiful redgum gullys ideal for a quiet camping getaway. We have some amazing birdlife on our farm such as pink cockatoos, red-rumped parrot, blue-faced honeyeater, black banded dotterel, wedge-tailed eagle, and many, many other species. There is a family of babblers that may greet you at the front gate and there are a large number of blue wrens in the homestead garden that if you sit still may sit on you. Guests are welcome to explore the entire farm or have a guided tour. Guests are welcome to have morning tea in the large homestead garden. We will provide firewood and collect your rubbish and recycling. We are only 70km from Deniliquin, home of the Deniliquin ute muster, and only 50km from the DTE Confest alternative lifestyle expo site.

Tom’s Run is located on the Cobb Highway, 8 kilometres from the town of Deniliquin. The land has been managed through organic farming practices over more than 20 years. We run alpaca and dorper sheep. The farmland dries off in October, over long, hot summers, and greens up with autumn rain and/or irrigation from April each year. Hot summer days and nights. Winter mornings can begin with a frost. Deniliquin has many tourist destinations and the Edward River is popular for fishing, swimming and water sports in summer. Eastern Grey kangaroos and abundant bird life inhabit the land as do many other native fauna. Our property features interesting native flora including canoe/scar trees. We often have magnificent sunsets, so bring your camera. Enjoy campfires in the evenings. Campfires are permitted when not in fireban season, or according restrictions. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities.​ Alpacas are curious creatures that tend to turn up to investigate farm activity - it’s therefore likely that they will visit your camp. Pets on leashes are welcome.

A lovely tranquil camping spot right near the river. Beautiful trees and birds. Great to relax and have a camp fire or go for a walk. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and the amenities are great. We really appreciated the lovely camp fire and the toilets and hot shower. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and secluded camping experience.

The campground is very spacious, and even though there weren’t many other campers during our stay, the area is so big that I’m sure it still feels comfortable when it’s busier. Julie was incredible — very welcoming. The facilities were spotless, with super clean bathrooms and hot showers for just $2. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely come back again! 🌿

Great directions and a very easy check in. The most difficult part was deciding where to set up. There is a huge amount of space to spread out. The dogs loved it. One of the better Hipcamp sites we have been too. Well kept grounds, multiple toilets that are very clean and Julie was lovely. It is approx. 20 mins to Echuca for supplies and cafes but there is also a BP servo 5 mins away for any emergancy supplies.
