Our group of six/ three caravans and one dog had a fabulous mini break away at Steveâs property. The property was very clean and inviting with lots of trees, power , water and two fire pits to keep us warm! The location was well
Positioned with a short walk in to the town centre and easy access to walking and bike riding trails. We will definitely book again and would recommend to others.

Nowhere near the actual Murray river like advertised didnât end up staying as most sites were inaccessible and way over priced considering if you camp in the Murray itâs only $12 for the night unlike this one which was $78

Great place to camp at, the large fire is a highlight. Enough room for multiple Power and water available. Close to town to walk to. Enjoyable stay. Truck noise all through the night though.

We had a fantastic time catching up with friends. 2 power outlets and water were perfect. Didnât have any problems positioning 20â van with plenty of room. The fire pit is amazing. Nice secure site and close to town. Canât wait to come back.

Great spot in a great town. Had a big fire pit fully stocked and BBQ available. Fully fenced so my dogs could run a muck. Wish booked more days. My favourite spot on my trip so far.

This is a really great little.spot. Very peacefull. Only 2 mins to town in the car. Watch the Cockatoos love to chew tgings like fishing rods lol. I would definatley return again.

The campsite is in a great spot, you are close to Port of Echuca ( walk or ride a bike) 500m.
Plenty of room on site with great lawn area and seating around fire pit. Power & water on a bush blockâŚ.Fantastic .

We loved how small and private this campsite was, and being so close to Echuca made it super convenient. We had the whole site to ourselves which was excellent and made for a really peaceful stay. There was lots of wildlife and birds around us, and we enjoyed using the great communal firepit in the evenings.
The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
It is a little on the pricier side for a small campsite with no toilets, but overall we really enjoyed the experience.

We loved this little spot. Great location, walking tracks all round, private block, fully fenced so the dogs could run off lead. Town water and power supplied. Easy access, peaceful. Will come again thank you

Fantastic caravan site, power and water was provided. Very secluded and the only caravan on the site. The site is very close to town and facilities. The owner Steve, is very good at responding to any questions. There is a dump point is close by, at the BP station. This site is better than any caravan park and would highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Great little stop over camp. Fully fenced in yard so was great for the dogs to just run around. very close to town (maybe 2 streets away) if looking for a base in Echuca this is an easy option

Great spot. Steve was great with advice and directions. He only lets the plot to one group at a time so hubby and I had it all to ourselves. The rain did make the grass muddy but you can park on the gravel drive, right next to power and water which was great. Small amount of road noise early in morning only. There is a dirt road that cuts through the bush - and walking to Shamrock pub this way was only 15mins( torch nec on way back) . Perfect spot for the town.

Perfect stop over, was great having power and access to taps.
Great big firepit and could see some wood already chopped up to use.
If youâre travelling with pets there is a gate and fencing. Our dog loved patrolling the border and having freedom to run around.

I usually donât go in to too much detail on hipcamp because as a rule theyâre pretty good. So in the interests of fairness and transparency to the hipcamp community out there:
This COULD be a really good hipcamp, but there needs to be some clarity and honesty about what it is and where it is located. It is NOT 1 Acre of land it is a half acre at best and narrow and tight.. The truck/car noise is loud and constant, particularly the air brakes on B doubles all through the night. It is tight to maneuver a 9M Van and a 5 Metre 4WD to achieve anything close to a decent campsite because it is so small.
We didnât appreciate being unable to use most of the block because it had been so heavily watered. The only way youâll get a 9M Van anywhere near the green grass would be by backing in to the site as there isn't a turning circle owing to the placement of power outlets and trees.
Even if we had managed it, the the dual axles would have torn the site apart - I wouldnât appreciate someone doing that to me, hence I wont do it to others out of respect. So essentially what we were left with was the dirt.
The Power and water were the only real reward, although proximity by car to Echuca was also well regarded - but it is not 400 metres away. Sorry but Google Maps is pretty accurate on this - its 1000 Metres
We drove in, and were forced to reverse out of a tight spot.
My suggestion is read this review prior to considering this campsite. Photos attached for reference.

Steves place is perfectâŚâŚ.had only planned to stay one night as a stopover as we passed through. Ended up staying 4. Well setup, close to town and secure yard for the dogs. PerfectâŚâŚour best Hipcamp experience yet!

Exceeded expectations great block
Plenty of room for the big rig if your worried about turning around in there
From past reviews just back it in iv got a 21.6 and had no issues at all
Water and power hook up is a bonus as not alot of hipcamps have this
Plus the grass area great for the fam to play or sit around in the heat as the town is of course dry in summer so great to see they accomodate for that so your not tracking dirt all in the van just parked up nexto the grass
Thanks for the stay and will definitely be back if were in echuca again âď¸
