Great spot! Cod were biting, peaceful and great host. Fire pit provided and an abundance of wood around the place to burn. Be a great cold weather camp to have a big fire and fish the day away.

We had a great stay at Tim’s Hipcamp. The campsite was peaceful, private, and a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature. Tim was a great host — friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The area was perfect for camping, relaxing by the fire, and enjoying some quiet time away. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back again.

I love camping here! We have stayed here multiple times now and every time the sites have been cleaned with wood ready to go and lovely views, Tim has always been such a great host and accommodating of our needs. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone

Great set up, nice and close to the river with the added little touches like pizza oven and fire pit. Very secluded and quiet with no other campers in sight.
We loved the site and as advertised and Tim was very helpful.
It was great location so quiet and complete privacy.. would definitely recommend and we will be there again.

This is my second stay at Golburn Downs. Tim is a great host ansers all questions. We stayed on the bush block no river frontage but still a great place to camp..

River crossing camp for caravans
Goulburn Downs is a gorgeous property. I camped at the river crossing and it was amazing! The river is easy to access, with many different areas to set up camp. I was far enough from other campers that I didn’t hear or see them, but it was nice knowing there were other people around. Tim was so lovely and checked on me to make sure I was okay. Will 100% come back! Thanks Tim!

We had a lovely relaxing time at Tim's place. He met us at the gate and guided us to the camp site 4 by the river. Each site is far enough away to give you plenty of privacy. Our dogs loved swimming in the river. Thank you for sharing your land. We will definitley be back!
Lovely picturesque spot by the Goulburn River. Nice flat spot. Only downside was access to water is a little difficult and very steep, especially with kids.
Tim was a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful with great communication, but gave us our privacy.
We had a last minute guest and Tim was so accommodating.
Will look to be back at another of Tim's spots with some easier access to the water :)

Quiet location but no view of the water, river or flooded soaks. Bit pricey for the location. Cheery host once we connected.
Tim was lovely . Met up with him at the gate. He drove us to the camp spot. Upon arrival we were a bit disappointed. The photos that are on camp 6 shows the water which we thought we were going to be right near the water which wasn’t the case. The camp ground it self was great , big , but unfortunately we had to walk to the waters edge which was difficult for some of us in the group as it was quite steep and abit of a walk from camp . Maybe having photos of the camp site and a brief description of how far the water is would be a good idea. Overall everyone had a good time but some of us couldn’t go fishing .

We had a great long weekend staying at Campsite 6. There were a few options at Campsite 6 of where to set up and plenty of space for our group to set up 3 camping trailers. Depending on where you to decide to camp the walk to the river is only about 1-3 minutes. There is a flat area to set up a marquee by the river if you wish to spend the day down there. You will need to walk down a steepish embankment to get into the water. Someone has cut stairs into the embankment so that made it a bit easier. You can't walk straight into the water, you need to step down into it and it is rather slippery, so probably not a good choice for those less able-bodied. Our group had a great time, spending most of the very hot days in the river. Tim the host was very friendly helpful, he showed us to our campsite when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!
Had another wonderful week at River Camp 1 with our pup. Second time we have stayed here in our camper. Tim is a great host, very friendly and helpful man. Great spot for fishing. Will definitely be back again 🙏
