Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush. Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

River rd ranch is at heart of the sunshine coast being only a 10 minute drive to Coolum beach and Yandina, 25 to 30 minutes to noosa, mooloolaba, Maroochydore beaches, Sunshine Plaza, bars and restaurants! Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers) Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be friendly retrained at all times. Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. Great spot with good sized camping spots along a rocky creek. Our site had a picnic table and swing (which none of the other sites had) a big fire pit and direct access to the creek. All sites have good tree coverage and open sunny places. My dogs loved the space and creek. There were piles of cut firewood to use (but I wouldn’t rely on it, I think it was just the owner leaving branches and trees that came down in the storm for people to use). There is a drop toilet as well which is very rustic. Great little spot close to Yandina.

Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. Come and relax at our flat, peaceful 5 acre hobby farm. Most animals wander around example the sheep, ducks and chooks, pig. So tough plastic boxes are great to hide your food items. We have a mini pig (Splat) that has her own paddock but she likes to socialise. I'm waiting for fencer to get her back in her paddock again. She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. I'm sure you will see other campers too and set up where ever you like. Just close gates again and I will meet you later if we are out. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.
