A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. We really enjoyed this hipcamp and would highly recommend it to other campers. It was easy to find, a short distance to Samford for shopping and eating out, the camp site is beautifully maintained, grassy, flat and close to a delightful flowing creek which is perfect for a swim with both shallow and deeper areas suitable for families. We loved that it was dog friendly, Clair was a great communicator and host. We enjoyed camp fires under the stars with wood delivered to our site and cooked delicious meals with the fruit and veggies Clair had grown on her property. Plenty of space for walks to explore the farm.

We had the pleasure of meeting our host, Ryan, who was both warm and welcoming. His knowledge of the area and its history was impressive, and his passion for the land was truly evident. The care and dedication he puts into maintaining the HiCamp site really stood out. The location itself was wonderful, offering the serenity and natural beauty of the Australian bush. Thank you Ryan & family for sharing your property. The facilities were clean & the very large grass area mowed & well maintained. We camped during a bit of a heatwave & were grateful for the shower to have a quick cool off. Friendly cows, little pggies & even a field mouse visited. Will be back & looking forward to seeing the creek flowing. Easy directions to follow & quick trip into Dayboro if you need anything or just want to support the lovely little township.

We loved the view from our camp site and our closeness to the farm cows and horses. The choirs of cows on the property and the neighbouring property were very entertainig. The property is interesting to explore and on this visit the roses were out - stunning. The hosts Clair and Andrew made us feel like family and gave us the space and freedom to quietly soak up the atmosphere and serenity.. We are heading back for our 3rd visit in Spring to check on the cows and their new calves. The property is a great place to just 'be in the moment'.
