OZ SKY RANCH

102 sites · RVs, Tents350 acres · Tamborine Mountain, QLD
Oz Sky Ranch is set on 350+ acres in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland, just outside of Brisbane at the bottom of Mount Tambourine near Canungra. We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans or leave your wine bottle in your caravan or tent/car. Bring plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. All campers must check in before dark and call me before entering. We look forward to your enquiry.

Samford Mini Farm & Creek Camping

14 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Samford Valley, QLD
With an heavy heart 22 April will be our LAST night for Hipcamp. Paul Wilkinson, owner of Latin Shak in Samford has complained relentlessly about our business to Council n this time it is about our popular camping so we are forced to stop because of his vexatious nature n jealousy of our successful business. So…BOOK NOW before the 22th to celebrate our last few weeks. In 2026 we will apply thru Council for a camping permit n fingers crossed they appreciate the stunning location for families. We will need letters of support to Council NOW n THEN to counter the opposition letters Paul is already accumulating. Support a family friendly business owned n loved by locals. Purchased in 2022, the property is slowly being returned to her former glory as a stunning tree lined, creek haven teeming with wildlife, flora and bird life. What we offer- 1. Enclosed Kids Space, very very tame sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys n geese and a jumping castle onsite which is open 9am to 2pm daily. (Note: campers can use for free) 2. Our licenced cafe onsite is open from 7am and serves delicious coffee, breakfasts, lunches, cold beer and on Friday nights - fish n chips! Got a group? We can make dinner for you with notice. Want a cold beer while the kids play in the kids space? We have it here for you. 3. Your camping area creek side is for tent camping only. The sites are a metre from the tree lined creek edged with giant granite boulders and water running most of the year. Cross the sandy creek bed by 4wd to unpack your tent and set up. Your car can be parked safely next to it. 4. Have a pop top? Then we have spaces in a more public space next to a narrow creek spot depending on your size. 5. What else? We have a shower n toilet located a short walk from your site via torch light or bring your own portable toilet. Town water is available as well. 6. Tennis court available to play on or for the kids to run on. Just book a time with us when you are here. We charge $20 an hour. Please note that we are next to a road and as such, you will have some road noise so as much as the location is highly convenient if you want absolute silence, this is not the place for you.
