You can either relax or get out and about as we are located near the famous Sirromet Winery and walking distance to Mount Cotton’s popular Eastern Escarpment walking and biking trails and amazing views up at the summit of Moreton Bay and across to the Glass House mountains. Venman Bushland National Park is just up the road and offers great walking trails. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic and offers mountain bike trails, walking tracks and a BBQ area.
Moreton bay access is also close by with a short drive to either Victoria Point, Cleveland or Redland Bay.
In addition, the property has beautiful walking trails.
Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions.
You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules.
Generators welcomed, to be switched off between 10pm and 7am.
Please be mindful of loud music after 10pm - please adhere to this request else you may be asked to leave.
Unfortunately, to preserve our wildlife, no pets allowed.

We cannot accommodate large caravans at this stage, due to the access to the site (steep gravelled driveway) and track to campsite has some bends not suitable for long vehicles)

A grassy flat tent site is tucked away shaded by trees. Powered Caravan site is also grassy and flat with a large area for kids to play. If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access.
Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.
You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves.
Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away.

Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

You can either relax or get out and about as we are located near the famous Sirromet Winery and walking distance to Mount Cotton’s popular Eastern Escarpment walking and biking trails and amazing views up at the summit of Moreton Bay and across to the Glass House mountains. Venman Bushland National Park is just up the road and offers great walking trails. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic and offers mountain bike trails, walking tracks and a BBQ area.
Moreton bay access is also close by with a short drive to either Victoria Point, Cleveland or Redland Bay.
In addition, the property has beautiful walking trails.
Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions.
You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules.
Generators welcomed, to be switched off between 10pm and 7am.
Please be mindful of loud music after 10pm - please adhere to this request else you may be asked to leave.
Unfortunately, to preserve our wildlife, no pets allowed.

Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

My two boys and I stayed at Tish’s Lakeside site, and had the best stay! We even extended our stay by another night because the boys were having so much fun. Tish was lovely and very accommodating.
The boys had fun fishing and kayaking in the dam. Was plenty of room to kick the ball around and play some Cricket.
We loved spotting all the different kinds of birds around in the trees, and listening to all the different sounds. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Nice quiet spot, good in between spot for Brisbane or Gold Coast (30 mins either way). Camping areas aren’t huge so be mindful pending size of set up. No amenities but grounds are well kept. We got a bit lost getting in and signage wasn’t easy to follow.
House on land is relatively close to camping areas, so best suited for a relaxed stay as not to bother residents - they are super lovely!

This was the perfect place to camp! We live in Brisbane and it only took us 30 minutes to get there. We didn’t have to contend with, highways, or Easter weekend traffic, yet it still felt like we were completely out in the country.
The amenities were FANTASTIC!!!!!!! So well built. Clean. Inviting. They had lots of very well thought out inclusions such as a bath, free fire wood, running tap water. Literally the kitchen sink!!
It was such a beautiful property too. With lots of amazing wild life. We saw a sugar glider, wallabies, eagles. It was so very peaceful and private.

We camped on Brian and Tanias property for Easter as a group of 12. We were up above one of the dams and had plenty of space for ourselves. Plenty of life in the dam, yabbies, eels and birds. Brian's a good fella, his his vision for his property and what he's already achieved is nothing short of incredible.
We will be coming back.

Thoughtfully spaced out camp sites, all with access to hot showers and flushing porcelain toilets!! 🚽 Some sites more secluded and private- so for those, byo shower and toilet if you don’t want to take a short walk or drive to the amenities.
Amenities were cleaned daily and always stocked with ample toilet paper and hand wash.
The camp kitchen is spectacular. Brian has made this himself and a lot of attention and care has been put into making it a practical communal space. Adjoining is a pool and a GIANT bonfire pit with landscaped sandstone blocks for sitting around the fire with large groups and a flat grassy area.
The views are lovely.
The creek is seasonal so don’t always expect fresh running water for swimming, but rock hopping and yabby hunting still provided entertainment for the kids as well as a little fossicking which produced some small pieces of petrified wood.
The beauty of this campground is that it is so close to Brisbane, which makes it ideal for quick weekend getaways without driving hours and hours. You feel very secluded and like you are in the middle of nowhere.
The grass is kept mown and the property is maintained to a high standard, as evidenced by an incredibly fast fix on a blocked septic tank. Brian had his machinery digging up the pipes and made the repairs on the spot. We will definitely be back.

Great spot so close to home (36klms!). Very well maintained with old world rustic charm original old shacks on sight and toilet & shower blocks to match. Lots of campers over Easter but were shown to a more secluded spot away from the crowds which we thoroughly enjoyed the quietness. Certainly be back.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s hard to believe a place this beautiful is so close to Brisbane, yet it still gives you that feeling of being a long way from everything. The property has a real park-like setting, and it’s clear the owners genuinely care about the place — it shows in the details. The amenities are deliberately rustic, but clean and well kept.
There are a number of houses on the property, or you can camp in various spots, which gives you some flexibility. We did have a mix-up with our campsite and ended up next to a dusty road. These things happen, but it felt more like we were told where to go rather than given options, if we were we didn’t understand. There’s no signage as what to do when you arrive and we watched many people tentatively wander around in their cars looking for someone
They’ve only been open around 10 months, and it’s obvious they’re still getting things sorted, especially leading into a busy period like Easter. The downside for us was the noise — it’s probably the noisiest Hipcamp we’ve stayed at. There were bulldozers, bobcats, and trucks moving around regularly, and a small loud motorised cart that seemed to be running most of the day.
It’s a beautiful place, no doubt about that, and I’d still encourage people to check it out. It just wasn’t the quiet, relaxing escape we personally look for. You might have a completely different experience and really enjoy it so go!

This is a new spot on the Hipcamp scene, and to be honest, I almost don’t want to talk about it… because once word gets out, it won’t stay a hidden gem for long.
The grounds are really well kept—open, park-like, and easy to relax in. Amenities are good, and the cookhouse is a highlight with great views across the parklands. There’s also a creek running through, which would be even better after some rain, still, there are pockets of swimming spots.
A couple of things to note. Signage could be clearer—it’s not immediately obvious where to go when you arrive. Also, they use a motorised buggy getting around throughout most of the day, we found it very annoying as it disrupted the natural quietness that we tried to get away to. .
That said, they’re building something pretty special here. The people are salt of the earth folk and we found them really friendly. We will definitely be back.
