Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered, do not add as an extra.

Great spot that was not too busy and other campers were friendly. Great spot to swim and relax as well as have a fire at night.

We had a really great stay here. Such a beautiful spot up on a hill overlooking the coast. The amenities were modern, clean and well maintained as well as the camp kitchen. We made woodfired pizzas one night using the oven which was a great treat. Thankyou, we'd like to stay again!

I accidentally ended up bogged on Nicky’s beautiful property (after rain). Not only did her & Daryl completely save my day!
But I ended up staying the night in such a pretty spot with my dog. Can’t thank her enough for her help, advice & for making me feel so safe & welcome as a solo traveller!

We booked this several months ago & admittedly was worried at the recent reviews. But we need not have been at all. Absolutely stunning site! We had very heavy rain but it didn't dampen our experience. We were grateful for a nice hot shower & the pool was lovely & clean. We loved the resident raven! We saw so much beautiful wildlife. The lovely town is just a short 5 minute drive away. We will 100% return here when we're in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Peter put us up in a great spot overlooking a few other vacant spots which were a bit closer to the river. The option for a warm shower was welcomed after our very rainey and wet drive thus far.

Great facilities and location. We had riverside camp and was great and close to boat ramp. Bring bug spray for midges but otherwise fantastic.
