Well kept parcel of land, very clean ammenities, everything you need in the camp kitchen and the showers had good pressure and hot as you need! Very quiet and lovely surroundings. We will be back 👍

We had a peaceful overnight stop at Akuna. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The amenities were clean. We enjoyed a night of star-gazing.

Stayed 4 days and enjoyed the, well kept grass area, camp kitchen and very helpful caretaker. Tha amenities were clean and the 5 minute drive to Awoonga Dam suited us. Great spot! We will return

Host was lovely and was able to help with all our requests, had all the facilities we would need and more. the space was nice and has a good atmosphere being an old scouts camp that has a bit of history. Also a beautiful creek just down the hill

Les was very friendly even tho we booked kinda late arvo and turned up at night. He was very helpful showing us around and kind. Was a short stay only overnight passing through tho would happily stay there again and a bit longer next time..

The family loved camping at Akuna, especially kayaking. There was lots of space for playing and we loved the big tables at the covered area, especially as it rained our last night. Toilets and showers were great and it was tidy and well maintained.

We only stayed here for the one night, but it was a great spot. Very quiet. Well looked after and all the amenities one would need to camp - well equipped camp kitchen and toilets/showers. Would definitely stay here again. The caretaker was very hospitable.

Excellent especially if your going to the dam. All amenities clean well cared for. Caretaker is very helpful and friendly. Good for all types of campers, plenty of room to spread out and do your own thing. Highly recomend for overnight or long stay.

My partner and I loved camping here! So quiet and secluded but they also have a kitchen to use with heaps of appliances.
The caretaker is super lovely and provided us with any information we needed.
Can’t wait to come back in the future

Awesome spot on outskirts of Gladstone, well kept ammenities and plenty of room, will definitely be back to soak up the the quiet still nights and the chirping of birds in the morning. Beautiful place
