Escape to Nature Welcome to our serene 40-acre property, just a 7-minute drive from the charming coastal town of Agnes Water and 1770. This tranquil retreat offers large established trees for shade, open spaces for camping, and a swimmable dam perfect for a refreshing dip. Each campsite is thoughtfully set back from the main road to ensure privacy and peace, with plenty of space between sites so you can enjoy an authentic camping experience under the open sky—without the noise of nearby campers. Fires are welcome in our designated fire pits, making it easy to enjoy cozy evenings surrounded by nature. Please note: there are no facilities on-site, so this is suitable only for fully self-contained campers with their own toilet and shower. Whether you're in a caravan, RV, or tent, you'll find ample room to relax and unwind. As a quiet family living at the back of the block, we maintain a no-party policy to preserve the serenity of the space. Come and reconnect with nature on this peaceful, spacious block—your perfect camping getaway awaits! 🐾 Dogs are welcome! We totally understand that your furry friend is part of the family, and they're more than welcome to join you. We just kindly ask that you keep your dog close by and on a lead while you're here. We have our own dog on the property, and for everyone's safety and peace of mind, we want to avoid any unexpected run-ins. Also, we’re surrounded by beautiful bushland, and it’s not uncommon to see kangaroos and other wildlife around. To help protect them—and keep your dog safe too—please make sure they don’t chase or wander. Thanks so much for understanding! 🐶💛

While there are no hookups, we encourage self-sufficiency and ask that you take your waste with you, leaving no trace behind. A designated fire pit is ready for cozy campfires under the stars, adding warmth and atmosphere to your stay. Whether you're seeking solitude or a base for adventure, Apple Bark Rest is yours to enjoy. SITE 1 is more shady than site 2, so if you prefer shade this is your best option. Come, relax, and make this space your own.

Site 2 - Apple Bark Rest 2 – Your Private Bush Retreat. This second site is located past site 1 - turn right off the main drive way at the HIPCAMP SIGN, drive past site 1 which will be on your right, then you will see a sign to turn left and then you will see site 2 ahead on your right in the cleared space. (feel free to call if you're unsure) Nestled among large, established stringybark trees, Apple Bark Rest 2 offers a peaceful and private escape in nature. What a cracker of a spot, very secluded and quiet. Tight to get in but worth it. Even get about 5 hours of sunlight as this was just right to charge batteries. Lots of firewood to easily pick up around the site. Camp is about halfway between Noosa and Eumundi so really easy to get to both. Perfect spot!!!!

Great location with a short drive to Agnes Water and 1770. There’s only 2 sites and we were the only people there so it was super private. You can’t see the camping spots from the road. If both spots are booked, you might see each other, but there’s plenty of space between the sites. This would be a great spot for a small group. The fire pit in site 1 would be great on a cool night, and I imagine it would light up the trees beautifully. There’s a small amount of road noise, but it was barely noticeable. On arrival, don’t misinterpret the directions to site 2 like we did. You can see site 1 from the drive way. You need to turn right towards site 1 to go past it to site 2 (rather than passing it and staying on the driveway).

Great location close to town but out of the touristy areas. Lots of birds about. Good fireplace and flat ground. Lovely hosts. Recommend.

Really enjoyed our 6 nights. Site 1 is very large as seen in photos certainly plenty of room for a large group. Site 2 is slightly smaller but still lots of space. Very easy to find,blue barrel on the drive which you can not miss. See photo of google maps, it send you down a right turn...just carry on the and the driveway is 100 metres past. A small sign indicating site 2 would be good at the hipcamp sign, this will save others looking for site 2 driving onto and setting up on site one. The hosts directions were very clear to us, just read the information. You can hear rd noise but it's not a busy rd and didn't bother us. A 1 min drive to a fantastic coffee house and just a few mins more to Agnes and 1770. We love our yearly trips to Agnes and will certainly stay at this camp again.

This was a great place to camp, and so close to 1770 and Agnes Waters. Michael located our party of two vans in a large open paddock away from other campers and it was very secluded. Michael even dropped off a brand-new fire pit for us to use, great service! We would definitely recommend this hip camp and we would stay there again.
