BYO fire wood or we can supply 15kg for $10. Personal fires permitted but above ground fireplaces must be used. We have a small amount for hire for $5.00 each. Generators permitted between the hours of 7am and 9pm only. Pets allowed but need to be on a lead at all times. Unisex flushing toilets with non-potable water. Must bring your own drinking water. We have a Beach Volleyball court, basketball hoop and swing set. Lots to see in the area. Hillview Drive Mountain Bike Trail and Brisbane Valley Rail Trail are a short walk/bike ride from the property. Canoe/Kayak entry point to the Brisbane river off Kholo Road (5km) Our price of $20.00 per site is aimed at two adults and up to three children. Each set up (tent, van or vehicle) is a separate site. 'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only. Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking. We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers. Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers. Portaloo toilet available at the campsite. Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed. Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times. Please let us know they are coming as well.

Conveniently situated about an hour’s drive from Brisbane’s major southside hospitals, this spot provides a tranquil getaway that’s still within easy reach of the city.

My group stayed for my bday weekend & had the best time! Huge perks of the place: -The hosts, Patrick & Tom, had amazing comms throughout the entire process & shared some important tips like internet access/things to do around the area/prompt that it’s cold at night, even in late spring, etc. They were lovely & prepared an amazing spot for our group. The toilet is an awesome long drop design that doesn’t smell, even after a huge group for a few days. It’s strategically placed near the fire pit, so we didn’t have to walk for ages from where we spent the majority of our time. It also has charging ports so you can keep your phones, etc, charged. We were so impressed with this! The freshwater creek was perfect for swimming. There’s a section deep enough to dive in & swim around & other parts you can sit on the rocks & enjoy shallow water. -The section is flat & very spacious, so there were many options to put the tents without being super close to each other. The trees lined up on the creek side provide shade from around mid-morning too which was handy to not have to squeeze under our gazebos! -The cows and calves that roam through the site are the cutest! Some even let you pat them. -If you forgot anything or need to top up supplies, it’s only a 15-minute or so drive to Canungra. It’s a really great spot for groups of all sizes, but ideal for a big group! Highly, highly recommend!

2 nights at Weefarm Brisbane River Camping

Probably the best camp I’ve ever been to! This was the first time my partner and I have been camping on our own in a new car and it couldn’t be more beginner friendly. The directions were very clear and the campsite was easy to get into, the track was rather fun for a first 4x4 run too. The location was beautiful and despite a bit of rain, the water was perfect for swimming and fishing. We managed to catch 8 different species of fish in just a few hours. We didn’t meet the hosts on our trip but if anything, it just added to the private feel and the doggos were welcoming on arrival 😆 I really couldn’t recommend this spot more and we hope to come back soon for longer. P.S beware of the bandicoot, he knows how to open zips and pinched a slice of bread on the first night 😅

I've lost count of how many times I've camped here! I travel with Dogs, so this spot is spacious enough that we can relax when we need to, swim & go for trail sniffs if we want to, watch the birds & jets, or shelter from sun/rain as necessary under one of the multiple structures or abundance of trees 🥰🐶 Thanks to the kindness of the hosts (who are also Dog lovers) & the locked gate, we always feel safe here!

Friendly cows and other wildlife wandered by during the day, which made it feel extra special. The creek was super clear and refreshing — perfect for a swim and for our dog to splash around in. Fantastic spot and awesome host, we loved the shade from the trees and the supplied park bench made a great spot to sit and eat, the creek was an easy walk and a refreshing spot to cool down, the grounds were well maintained and the toilet were clean . Would definitely come back again, plenty of room to throw a ball for the dog, and the friendly wildlife entertained you with there presents, we were only there 5 days which went way to quick. Thanks Tom & Patrick, you have a great spot, hope to come again soon.

We had such an amazing stay here! Unfortunately, we did need to do a mad dash pack up and escape after some hectic wind ripped through which cut our trip short, but the time we did spend was absolutely brilliant. So many spots to set up camp, access to the river for swimming, paddle boarding and fishing was beautiful! We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to the next trip here.

We booked quite late in the evening & it was really lovely Samantha returned to our enquiry promptly. The campsite is really well set out, we were lucky to be the only ones there. Small amount of road noise from the nearby highway but the birds chirping in the trees & surrounded by bush far outweighed the any downsides. Toilet was clean & flushable. Enjoyed our stay even though just for one night. Thanks Samantha

First time using Hipcamp and didn’t disappoint. Beautiful spot by the river. Plenty of bird life and plenty of fish. Close to town if you need to top up supplies.
