Bindarah Downs offers easy access to our 4 acres and 3 levels of open and shaded, creek frontage. Only 15 mins from Rathdowney, close to Maroon Dam and several National Parks. Each site accommodates one set-up; e.g. one caravan, one motorhome, one camper trailer etc. Please make a separate booking if you have multiple camping set-ups. The creek offers campers cool waterholes to swim in on a hot day and picnic tables to enjoy your meals. Hang your hammock, lay back and enjoy the tranquil setting and cool breeze while the kids ride their bikes. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Children 16 and under stay for free but please let us know they are coming. Campfires are welcome but must be kept contained, you can help yourself to any fallen timber on the ground but please do not cut any trees. We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. The campsite is best suited to those chasing a quiet, private area to enjoy the best of nature along with unbelievable mountain views. The property is the home base for a grass fed beef business with a sustainable focus so whilst you will share with some beautiful cows and calves, the secluded(and fenced off!) campsite is private and serene. Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular. The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD! In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. Highly recommend this wonderful place to relax and unwind. Shayne was very friendly and helpful and recommended a site to set up. It was great to hear all about the farm and his friendly animals. We chose a site overlooking the creek with easy access for the dogs and ourselves to enjoy the water as the weather was very hot. Loved that the camping area is limited to 10 sites and we were lucky the be sharing with only one other couple. There was a little bit of street noise during the day but this did not distract from the sound of the running creek and abundant bird calls. Thank you for sharing Bindarah Fark with us. We will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely love this place - clean, tidy and the running water is magical. Plenty for families to explore, horses and cows always making afternoon appearances. The hosts are friendly and kind, even went to the trouble of making the access even smoother for my SUV. We love this place and will be back :) thank you for sharing such an amazing piece of paradise with us.

A lovely spot near the creek. Shayne is a wonderful host. He even came down to check the welfare of all the campers after we went through a hail storm. There was a bit of road noise during the day but the birdsong was abundant also. Road noise was no bother at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Hilltop Farm, Camping and Glamping.

Our group really enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Farm. Eight members of our Brisbane ham radio club were able to see 360 views of the horizon, put up our antennas and make contact with the world! The amenities were as described, and we had visits by friendly horses and a very polite dog. We agreed that this will become an annual event and we will definitely be back next year!

There was a beautiful spring surrounding the campsite, with some private campsites tucked away. The running spring was shallow during this dry time of year but still beautiful to swim in, and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sounds of the running water outside our tent. The campsite was close to the road, which had the odd loud motorbike drive past, but being from the city, the site was a quiet change and still felt very secluded. The land was stunning and very well taken care of. Both Shayne and Kim where helpful and friendly hosts. We enjoyed our time here very much :) thank you.

We had a beautiful stay at Bindarah Downs. It was very busy the first night, being a long weekend, however once a lot of people departed we could see what the fuss was about. We could’ve stayed longer as it was just so peaceful and pretty down by the creek.
