The site provides complete privacy and peace and quiet except for the bird song.The Heritage township of Childers is 5 minutes away by car, Woolies, restaurants as well as a main street that is very worth while walking down. Great coffee shops and interesting old Hotels. A great place to stop over if you are heading north or south.

The Fishing Hut is located on our working Brahman cattle property. It is completely self contained and perfect for families. It has 3 bedrooms (one queen bed, one king bed, and a kids room with two sets of bunks) all fully air conditioned. The fishing hut sleeps 9 people, any additional guests will have to supply their own bed and bedding. Indoor kitchen including a dishwasher and an outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven and a BBQ. Sit back and enjoy the panoramic views of the Mary River and the surrounding bush land while sitting around the fire pit. We have quite a few local pubs around that are happy to take group bookings if you’d like a night off cooking. Pets are welcome but need to be kept on a leash and contained at all times. Please be respectful of the fact we run cattle and have our own dogs on the property. Your dog must stay in the area in front of The Fishing Hut. No dogs are permitted behind the The Fishing Hut where we have our cattle yards and our own dogs. The property is located in Scotchy Pocket farming district, 25 minutes north of Gympie.
