Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath. 24 hour security access to your own private campsite. Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too. You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. If the site you have chosen is unsuitable, please let us know & we will allocate you a different site. Fantastic Aussie bush property on the Mary river, plus a spring fed lake with beautiful water. The mornings were great foggy cool mornings , the weather had been dry for a whole Le so the grass was getting hard and dry, the horses are beautiful and love a pat. Playing golf on the makeshift gym of coarse was a bit of fun with the boys. The only problem we had was someone on an adjacent property was having what they called a party to all hours of the morning so you could just hear the bass till 7am, but that can happen anywhere. Would go again.

Great amenities, nice camping spot with power and water hook up or camp off grid in a secluded spot away from everyone. Midgies are bad so come prepared. They fit through your flyscreens and will eat you alive if you're not covered up. All in all we had a great holiday.

Amazing place to come with 3 little kids. Woke up to beautiful horses which the whole family loved. The river was absolutely stunning to swim in and the kids caught some bass also whilst walking up to the rapids was priceless. It was a total fire ban and wasn't Vanessa's fault and camping without a fire sux but realistically you don't need one here which was weird for us 😆 and awesome at the same time. You can golf here also and had full phone reception . Lagoon offered free kayaking. Totally recommend and definitely will return in the near future.

We stayed at trip in a van corner and had a great nights sleep. We had plenty of space and it was very peaceful and could listen to the birds. We also saw kangaroos racing around the neighbouring property which was great. The amenities were SPOTLESS and crafted with care and attention. The whole property had heaps of personality and interesting features. We only stayed for a night as we were passing through but would definitely stay again if we are back in hervey bay.

The hospitality was amazing and the campground was absolutely gorgeous the whole place would as just breathe taking, natural spring fed lake, river access , 9 hole golf course, kayaks and you even get fire wood supplied . Ian and Vanessa and of course Sasha the Dalmatian were so friendly and courteous. We are definitely returning back here

Great location as its close to a great local Cafe (River Heads cafe and takeaway - 4min drive) and Hervey Bay just up the road. Lovely peaceful spot on the Burrum River. Lots of birdlife and kangaroos. Gorgeous cows. Easy to stroll around and appreciate the work going in to the property. We were there for a 1 night "shakedown" with new van. Grounds neat and tidy, directions and information from Michael very clear.

We have 9 gorgeous Scottish Highlands, the Scottish folk pronounce it "Heilen Coos" so that's how we say it, I'm not spelling it wrong 🤩😆You'll meet Kelvin the Scottish Highland Bull, Oakley her calf Lucy, Willow and her calf Ferdinand (Ferdi), and our new additions Dusty and Maddi, they can be both fun and relaxing to watch doing zoomies around the yard, swimming in the dam or chilling under a tree 😁 We have 2 new little ones Alfie and Angus Keep in mind from December to March we have hot, rainy summers. For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also. Check in is after 1pm and check out is strictly before 10.30am, we promise you will get your 'Heilen Coo' fix 😝 We have Souvineers and firewood please bring cash 😍 Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running. Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience. 6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

100 secluded acres located on the Gregory River approximately 15 minutes from Buxton township. The property is nestled amongst thousands of acres of national park for bush walkers an explorers. Guests need to be fully self contained and no toilets are on site. Access to the Gregory river enables fishing from the bank and a spot to place a crab pot to secure a local feed of fish or mud crab. There is also the option to put a kayak into the river from the bank. Campsites are located approximately 100m from the river bank so only a short walk to the water. Despite there being some snags, I have caught some very decent fish and crabs all from the property. For those wanting to spend a day on the water, I can guide guests in my boat to help land one of the many metre barramundi that call the river home. There are approximately 15 native beehives on the property and I am happy to show guests inside some hives as well as how to locate some in the wild for the interested bushwalkers and nature lovers. The property does not have power, water or toilets so please plan ahead. Significant rainfall can also make accessibility an issue along the 1km driveway so I would recommend a 4 wheel drive, however if it is dry a 2WD would be fine.
