It is a great spot for scenic photography, a base to explore the many hikes and climbs from in the surrounding National Parks. Note: This site does not have any toilet or shower facilities so you will need to be a self-contained camper and bring your own. You can bring your own firewood from local service stations or other sources to be used in the firepit. Bring your hiking gear, your mountain bike and definitely bring your camera as the views are stellar. The craggy peaks of the Glass House Mountains tower above the surrounding landscape. They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

We are in close proximity to our quaint village of Cooroy, Noosa River, Noosa Heads & National Park, Coolum Beach, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Maleny and the many other beautiful areas, towns, beaches and attractions are within 20-40 minutes. * 5 minute drive to Cooroy business centre where you’ll find a great variety of cute shops, local clubs, restaurants/cafes/takeaways, bakeries, IGA supermarkets, service centres, hardware, Post Office, a fabulous library and adventure play ground and much more. * Medical facilities in Cooroy include a doctor, dentist and vet 3 km away, with hospitals close by at Noosa and Nambour. * Refill your Petrol, Diesel or LPG tanks in town on your way in or out. * 5 minutes from the golf course. The corner store and petrol station are a short stroll from home for any last minute essentials, however on your own 3 acres you can embrace the natural splendour of this escape. Kayaks are included in your stay, as well as a ping pong table. A shared toilet, PowerPoints (for device charging), and mini fridge are available inside. Firewood can be collected on the property, or purchased locally. No drinking water and no shower facilities, but you may use the tap and hose to rinse off (or enjoy an open-air shower if you aren’t too bashful!) Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our little rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or grab a soak in our outdoor bath with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers and if you are camping with children and dogs. We have 10 large flat grassy sites nestled amongst trees. Campsites are far enough away from other campers to enjoy the privacy. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. Pets permitted but must be restrained.
