Its fenced off from the farm and is only 2km from Godwin beach, 1k from Sandstone Lakes and just a short drives from Sandstone point hotel and Bribie island. If you like the farm life there is plenty of cattle, or chickens and horses to check out. There is plenty of activities to do such as; fishing, walking tracks, shopping centers and more.

Sunrise Camping has 15 large sites and Ironbark has 9 sites ( for group bookings) Fully fence with spectacular views of Lost Word and Lamington National Park. Semi of grid with 2 toilets and 2 showers. Short walk to Albert River for a swim, fish or look for crystals Tennis Court and playground for the children. From our sites you can see and hear different animals, mini cows, mini donkeys mini goats also lots of sheep plus our camels and alpacha's all very friendly waiting for a feed and pat. We have a walking track to the top of the property with breath taking views of the valley. At night you have star gazing the milky way as you never seen it before There is a small shop on site with Ice, Fire Wood, Drinks, Barista Coffee and limited take away . We can supply Cheese Boards and Picnic Lunches.

All UPDATES/NOTES listed below are in answer to common questions we are asked - please read all before requesting a booking, especially the need to confirm your 4WD status and camping platform at time of booking request. Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately. NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

This place is pure magic. Great value. Plenty of space. Right on the water for no powered sites, there are a few trees so you can choose to either be under them or not, we chose not to for full solar. The ground is solid, grassy & even. So much wild life, super relaxing & quiet

My group stayed for my bday weekend & had the best time! Huge perks of the place: -The hosts, Patrick & Tom, had amazing comms throughout the entire process & shared some important tips like internet access/things to do around the area/prompt that it’s cold at night, even in late spring, etc. They were lovely & prepared an amazing spot for our group. The toilet is an awesome long drop design that doesn’t smell, even after a huge group for a few days. It’s strategically placed near the fire pit, so we didn’t have to walk for ages from where we spent the majority of our time. It also has charging ports so you can keep your phones, etc, charged. We were so impressed with this! The freshwater creek was perfect for swimming. There’s a section deep enough to dive in & swim around & other parts you can sit on the rocks & enjoy shallow water. -The section is flat & very spacious, so there were many options to put the tents without being super close to each other. The trees lined up on the creek side provide shade from around mid-morning too which was handy to not have to squeeze under our gazebos! -The cows and calves that roam through the site are the cutest! Some even let you pat them. -If you forgot anything or need to top up supplies, it’s only a 15-minute or so drive to Canungra. It’s a really great spot for groups of all sizes, but ideal for a big group! Highly, highly recommend!

It's cheap so I was happy.. The roosters weren't great cockle doodle doin throughout the night but it's a farm so... I did msg the host and they never replied which is fine... It's cheap so just grateful for a place to stay.. The ground was hard even though it had been raining.. There are alot of potholes on the driveway in but nothing to crazy and none on the field itself.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay here! The campsite was beautiful and quiet, surrounded by nature. Friendly cows and other wildlife wandered by during the day, which made it feel extra special. The creek was super clear and refreshing — perfect for a swim and for our dog to splash around in. Everything about this trip was just what we needed to unwind. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic spot and awesome host, we loved the shade from the trees and the supplied park bench made a great spot to sit and eat, the creek was an easy walk and a refreshing spot to cool down, the grounds were well maintained and the toilet were clean . Would definitely come back again, plenty of room to throw a ball for the dog, and the friendly wildlife entertained you with there presents, we were only there 5 days which went way to quick. Thanks Tom & Patrick, you have a great spot, hope to come again soon.

The staff were really great! The first night we were there, there was a group who were loud throughout the night and in the morning Doug was really proactive about getting everyone's feelings about them and moved them further away from everyone. Apart from that, even though it was a long weekend, it didn't feel like we were all camping on top of each other's spaces! We had lots of fun!

We had an amazing time at this quiet and secluded campsite. Unfortunately, the creek wasn’t running, and there was a fire ban in place, but it didn’t take away from the peaceful atmosphere. Marcus was an excellent host - friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile by assisting me in removing a broken wheel while I was changing a tyre on my vehicle.

It’s not a big area but found the way sites were set was good area for a family. There’s roosters that may be confused on timing but wasn’t too bad. The kids loved seeing the cows in the morning. Owners were very polite. The beaches aren’t too far. I really enjoyed my time here

A beautiful stay at Site 3 for my birthday. Private, quiet and a lovely view down the creek. The creek had a couple of deep spots so you could have a proper soak in the hot weather. Loved being able to have our dog there. A bummer about the fire ban as it would have been nice to use the fire pit but we will save that for our next visit. Tom and Patrick were responsive hosts and we will definitely be returning!
