We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.

Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

This camp close to motorway which was great for us to get our running around done. It is a large grassy block with a lovely breeze. The block is utilised to store some other vans but we were the only campers at the time. We really appreciated the early check in and late check out. Having access to power and water made it a great spot to recharge before we continued on our way. Most places we looked at in Brisbane had a minimum 2 -3 night stay and at least twice the price.

Weekend Trip to Jotoludy,

We had the most wonderful stay at Jotoludy, it was the perfect introduction to camping for our young family (with children under 5). As first-time campers, we couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The large shelter with tables and seating was very convenient as well as having access to power, a fridge, and sinks gave us peace of mind while still letting us enjoy the camping experience. The site is private, so we didn’t have to worry about other campers, which made us feel safe and relaxed. It’s very spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for stargazing, kicking a soccer ball, and sending our 4 year old off on little nature treasure hunts. There was plenty of space to choose where to set up our tent, which was a big bonus. Although it was ideal for a small family’s first camping trip, we could also see it being a fantastic spot for larger groups or celebrations. The creek was lovely too. We had no trouble accessing it, though it might be a little tricky for less mobile visitors as the path is narrow and steep. My 4 year old absolutely loved being woken up by the cows outside our tent, he thought it was hilarious. I didn’t get to meet the hosts initially as we were running so far behind schedule we missed them, but my partner had a chat with them on the way out and said Katrina was lovely. Overall, it was an incredible first time camping experience that we’ll treasure and would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Lowood Nature Camp

We had a fantastic 2-night, 3-day stay at this peaceful property in Lowood, hosted by the wonderful Lynette and Lauren. This is the ideal spot for true off-grid camping. Important Note on Facilities: This is a primitive camp, meaning there are no shower or toilet facilities. Campers must be fully self-sufficient, but if you're prepared, the reward is pure quiet and space. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in space and charm. There is plenty of open land and the entire experience was incredibly relaxing. The check-in and check-out process was easy and seamless. The absolute highlight was the friendly resident horses! We highly recommend you pack carrots and apples to make some new friends. For restocking supplies like wood and ice, the town of Lowood is only a quick 5-minute drive away. We loved the amazing views at Olive. Tree, it was so quiet with nice open spaces. The bus shop was a little treasure with home made items. We will definitely be back.

1 night at Pims Mountain Retreat

Absolutely stunning location, wide open field suitable for any type of camping. I was with my swag enjoying the view of the mountain by the fire. Pim also runs a message place which was also very relaxing highly recommend!
