Come and Camp at Noosa Equestrian Centre, a 188 acre property in the heart of the Noosa regions, with lush greenery and a peaceful tree lined creek. Escape to our privately owned equestrian park, nestled on 20 peaceful acres beside the serene Petrie Creek. This retreat offers a perfect blend of rural charm and comfort, while being so close to town. On the property, you’ll find 13 horses grazing freely, along with 9 friendly goats, including adorable baby goats, 6 chickens, and 2 friendly dogs. Camp riverside down by the creek or on the elevated flat area where the horses graze, perfect for caravans or camper trailers. Firewood is available to purchase when making your booking and collect on arrival. A Porta loo is located between the campsites, and wheelie bins for rubbish and recycling are available. We also provide a bin for any food scraps which goes to our chickens. There’s also a large communal area with a campfire pit, close to the water for a great view, with steps for easy access to the creek, ideal for social gatherings. This communal area has log seating around the fire, hammocks in the trees and sandy tracks to the creek where you can throw in a line. Guests with horses can bring up to two per booking. You may set up a portable yard off your float or request a private paddock, this needs to be arranged in advance. Please note that stallions are not permitted. Horse-related activities, require at least one week’s notice prior to your stay. The creek is tidal, offering opportunities to fish, swim, or explore by stand-up paddleboard or inflatable boat. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. Camp riverside down by the creek or on the elevated flat area where the horses graze, perfect for caravans or camper trailers. We also provide a bin for any food scraps which goes to our chickens. This communal area has log seating around the fire, hammocks in the trees and sandy tracks to the creek where you can throw in a line. Guests with horses can bring up to two per booking. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Our campground offers a long stretch of flat land, making it an ideal destination for both large and small groups of campers. One of the highlights of our campground is its proximity to the river. You'll have easy access to one of two river access tracks, just a short stroll away. As you approach the river, you'll be greeted by the soothing shade provided by the surrounding trees. The river itself offers a diverse range of experiences, from calm and shallow areas perfect for kids to play safely, to exciting rapids and refreshing rock pools for adventurers of all ages, with water depth varying depending on seasonal conditions. For those who love water activities, our campground offers a fantastic opportunity for kayaking along the river. As an added bonus, our working farm is home to delightful pygmy goats that freely roam the property or can be found in their enclosure. Other Things to Note Access to the property involves crossing a dip and a causeway . This track is almost always accessible by 2WD. Contact us regarding crossing conditions before your stay during wet weather. Toilet facilities are not available and bush toilets are NOT permitted. Campers must bring their own camping toilets and take all waste when they go. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF YOUR CONTAINERS/TOILET FACILITIES PLKEASE MESSAGE US FOR CONFORMATION. A BUCKET IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS IT CAN BE BLOWN OVER SPILLING CONTENTS. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits, based on weather conditions. Firewood is available for $15.per bag this is in the shade shelter with the fire pits if there isn't one at your site. We would appreciate if you could return your bags pls. Generators are permitted, we ask that these are turned off by 8pm for the comfort of other guests and our neighbours across the river.

The closest place I could find to pull up my caravan near Sippy downs. Kangaroos and beautiful trees a lovely sight. Instructions where to go provided on booking. I was lucky I almost had the place to myself. Conveniently close to motorway and sunshine coast animal rescue, which I didn't know existed. Apparently, there is an op shop type market Wednesday and Saturday's 8-12.30.

Access isn’t for amateurs this track means business. Arrive before dark (seriously), and BYO water there’s no tap, no picnic tables, just a fire pit and a tree for a company. What you get? Rolling hills, grazing cattle, and views that make the effort worth every gear shift. Sunrise and sunset here are pure magic. Bottom line: If you’re faint-hearted, stick to Netflix. If you’re game, this site l will make you feel like camping royalty after you conquer the decent.

Next time, we’ll be staying much longer! We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, camping experience. Recommended to us while enjoying Byron Bay, the sunsets didn't disappoint, And when the horses shared the skyline, it was a quick reminder how beautiful Earth is.. There is a few ways to get to the creek edge but go slow. The easiest is the concrete steps near the Kayak. Low tide exposes a couple of easy crossings to sand banks. Could see and hear fish, clearly I haven't yet mastered the sport. THANK YOU to the host and helpers for wowing the kids with the playful twin goats and herd, aswell as a bit of hands on horse education. ( and for the time out it gave us adults lol) The Xmas lights are a nice touch and they show you where the toilets are in the dark. Toilets were a good bonus. Little road noise yet the experience well made up for it..

We camped at Horseshoe Hideaway at campsite 1, I set up in the wrong spot but it was all good and worked out well as there is heaps of room. It was an awesome spot, on the higher bank of creek with a nice view of the creek to keep an eye on the children swimming and kayaking. We were supposed to be in “creekside” down on the lower part, close to the communal area, which has the main entry point to the creek and is more shallow area especially at low tide, would be perfect for little ones to play in creek. The creek was epic for us, as there were some hot days and the deeper section was great to cool off, so we spent a lot of time there. My children, 9,11&13 enjoyed the horses and goats roaming around and patting and feeding them. I was curious as to how friendly the horses and goats would be and if they would bother us in the campsite…. Well, they turned out to be pretty well behaved. We had horses just wander past us, eating grass, left us alone. Obviously if you interact with them, they will come say hello, we just observed them and only interacted with them out in the paddock and near the yards. The goats were a little more curious when we had food out but we just ushered them on and they left. All in all, we thought this place was really good, Jenna was amazing host, very accommodating and always willing to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Early times here and greater things ahead as they are always making improvements to make this place even better!

What a great spot to park my campervan for a few nights! We were positioned looking out to the water, super close for swimming access. We were able to purchase fire wood and have a little fire. It was super quiet and plenty of room for everyone as there are various campsites but all set away from each other. I loved it and will definitely be back again!

We selected a site at the top end of the lake... it was so incredibly peaceful as we had the entire area to ourselves. The amenities in the main camping area were beautifully clean. The lake was amazing to swim and cool down in at the main camping area, unfortunately a little too weedy for swimming up the end where we were.... but it was a lovely walk down to take a dip.

We had a very relaxing 3 days on site 3. A big open field surrounded by beautiful trees. It was freshly mown on arrival. A short walk to town but still very quiet. The river another short walk for a swim. It was rocky and not too deep but we still spent plenty of time swimming. Overall excellent value and we will visit again.

Fresh farm eggs can be bought if available at the time. This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

We are a working family farm set on over 150 acres on the beautiful Mary River, located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We offer 4 peaceful sites with direct river frontage for self-contained caravans, campers and tents. WE DO NOT HAVE TOILET OR SHOWER FACILITIES. Campfires permitted in fire pits provided. We offer complimentary kayaks and tyre tubes for guests use, BYO life jackets if required. Bring your fishing rod and fish from your camp or a kayak. It is expected that all guests treat our kayaks and tyre tubes with respect. The road to the campsite is an all-weather access road. The campsite is also easily accessible with 2WD vehicles. A FAIR USE POLICY applies to guests who intend to camp as one party. Please DO NOT book separate sites. If you have a big group and want to have the campsite to yourself, then please head to our 'Entire Private Group' site. *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. (private contractor) The Mary River water level is determined on rain fall. I will make personal contact with all campers when flooding occurs. The River is flowing beautifully at the moment.. Each vehicle must bring and use its own self-contained portable toilet and portable shower; The use of the property’s land and surrounding area for toileting, washing, or grey water discharge is strictly prohibited; Washing, bathing, or disposing of any waste water in the river or on the ground is strictly prohibited; All human waste, grey water, and associated waste materials must be removed from the site upon departure and disposed of at an appropriate off-site facility. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children. We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day. Pets permitted but must be restrained.

Our campsites are scattered all over our property so you are guaranteed serenity if that is what you are seeking. We would appreciate bookings at least one week in advance. 4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

DAM CAMP SITE 1 Our private campsite is a dry season site only (open May - October). It is a retreat away from the main house close to a spring fed dam with good access and level grassy areas. In the centre of our farm we have a small herd of miniature goats who we lovingly care for and milk. We walk them around different areas of the farm daily and if you would like to join us for goat shepherding (walking with our goats - a regular practise to keep our goats healthy and happy) along a series of mowed trails, we have this listed as an "EXTRA".
