We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy.
Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale.
We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required.
Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property.
Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed.
Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water.
During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out.

The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality.
Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders.
Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month.

Come and relax at our flat, peaceful 5 acre hobby farm. Most animals wander around for example the sheep, ducks and chooks, turkeys So tough plastic boxes are great to keep your food items safe.
We have a mini pig (Splat) that is now in the house yard due to pushing fences and getttongbout
She loves pats, runs and a brush. She is super gentle.
Sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit.
Baby animals are seasonal.
There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in.
We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself.
Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here.
The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary.
Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids.
We also offer day visits for $5 per person.
Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay.
Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas)

The Rail Trail path traces the former train corridor from Fernvale to Yarraman and is over 160km long in total. You can do small sections at a time. The path is accessible via any of the well-preserved former railway stations along the route.
Not far from here, Somerset Dam is popular with water sports lovers, and fishing enthusiasts. Pack a picnic and settle in for the afternoon beneath a shady gum tree along Lake Somerset’s shores.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. Access to rubbish facilities is provided. The camping area is 2WD accessible.

Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular.
The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area.
The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD!
In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in.
We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself.
Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here.
The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary.
Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids.
We also offer day visits for $5 per person.
Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay.
Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas)

Not far from here, Somerset Dam is popular with water sports lovers, and fishing enthusiasts. Pack a picnic and settle in for the afternoon beneath a shady gum tree along Lake Somerset’s shores.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. Access to rubbish facilities is provided. The camping area is 2WD accessible.

Designed for adventurers, our remote bushland sites are accessible only by 4WD, offering true seclusion and natural beauty. These exclusive spots allow campers to escape civilization, surrounded by trails, scenic views, and the calming sounds of the wild. Horse Archery Venue
Our property is home to a growing horse archery centre, hence the name "Run Amaç", Amaç being the Turkish work for 'aim'. Bringing an ancient sport into a Aussie bush setting, riders of all skill levels can enjoy training areas and trails, with opportunities for archery lessons and competitions. 170 acres of paradise located in Tarome, just 8 minutes from Aratula and the Cunningham Highway. The campsite is best suited to those chasing a quiet, private area to enjoy the best of nature along with unbelievable mountain views. The property is the home base for a grass fed beef business with a sustainable focus so whilst you will share with some beautiful cows and calves, the secluded(and fenced off!) campsite is private and serene. Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular.
The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area.
The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD!
In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. Only an hour north west from Brisbane, just over half an hour north from Ipswich.
We now have toilets. A semi self contained caravan is coming soon, hopefully ready by the Christmas holidays.
We purchased our block as a rural escape. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water.
Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds
Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed).
Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole.
A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area.
15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery).
20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun.
Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike.

A fire pit is provided at each site. Forage for wood on the ground only. Absolutely no axes/chainsaws etc are to touch our trees at all, they are koala protected.

The absolute best! Samantha is an outstanding host and keeps the camp area and toilets clean and tidy. She promptly responds to messages and doesn’t harass you like some other hosts.
Shops etc is only a 5 minute drive away and there’s a bistro/tavern just down the road if you want to grab dinner or a drink. Thank you Sam for being a wonderful host, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

I had the whole place to myself and enjoyed the peace and tranquility and being able to listen to the birds in the morning. It’s also a short 5 minute drive to Billy’s Bay where you can have a nice swim.

The Two Tree Hill campground has spectacular views. Better than expected. Very quiet, clean and tidy. The grasses were green and well maintained. The host was so accommodating and respect our privacy. I highly recommend this campground. The road going up there were just so easy . I highly recommend this campground. Can't wait to comeback.😍

This is an awesome camping spot, the trees surrounding camp made it feel very cozy. The scenery was absolutely lovely and was complemented with a gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Even with the cars passing by a few hundred meters away the camp felt very peaceful. Lovely scenic quiet spot. Area has not had a lot of rain thus there was not a lot of water for swimming. We are city slickers - there were 2 horses hanging by a 3 way gate. We were not experienced enough to know that those horses were hanging around specifically to get entry to another paddock. My husband did not shoo them away and opened the gate & one bolted through. We were embarrassed but the owner was understanding. Lesson learned. No network connection which was perfect.

Bare’s Hideaway was a lovely farm style camping experience! The paddocks had great views and were well kept, with flushing toilets and hot showers close by. Paul and Tracy were amazing hosts, making sure we had everything we needed, even taking us to see the new born piglets in their farm.

This gem is way bigger and better than the photos show! Such a quiet, peaceful and natural outlook with clean and charismatic facilities built out of recycled materials. The just were lovely and have though out everything, each day Paul and Tracy would drive past to check if we needed anything and Paul was nice enough to take us to feed the pigs, piglets, sheep and goats. We will be back for sure for such an authentic farm stay.

What a lovely spot at Bares Hideaway! Given the small number of campers they accept, there was plenty of space to spread out. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of toilets and showers. Wherever you chose to set up your camp, you were never far from amenities.
During our stay there was a large group there for a celebration but they were far enough away not to bother us.
We will look forward to coming back again!
