Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. **Our camping sites vary in size and proximity to others. If you want to come with a group with several vehicles etc, please send a message rather than book separate sites. We will help find a site which suits your needs. We now have several secluded bush camp sites as alternatives to our more 'civilised' sites. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area. 15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery). 20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun. Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Only an hour north west from Brisbane, just over half an hour north from Ipswich. We now have toilets. A semi self contained caravan is coming soon, hopefully ready by the Christmas holidays. We purchased our block as a rural escape. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water. Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed). Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole. A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area. 15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery). 20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun. Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike. The cabin and facilities were super-clean, and stocked with everything you would need. Even the fires were pre-sticker with kindling. And the fresh bread was incredible. Our bub absolutely loved his first time camping and the bush walks around the area. Bribie Island was just a short drive away and we had a beautiful day trip there. Rustic Resort Wamuran was a great little break away. We loved the bush, the birds, the escape from people. The 4x4 track in was very manageable - great to be in a place that was not highly manicured. The toilets were extremely clean, and had signs clearly explaining what could/couldn't go into them. The host came down and had a great, friendly, informative chat. It was also great that it was pretty close to Caboolture - but you would never know it. Overall - a great little get-away.

Absolutely loved our stay at WoopWoop! This was the first camping trip for the two of us without any “camping expert friends,” and WoopWoop turned out to be the perfect choice. I chose this campsite for its location and amenities, and I have zero regrets — we’re already looking forward to coming back, and I highly recommend it to others. The site and facilities were exceptionally clean and very well maintained by Peter & Doris, who welcomed us with genuine warmth. We added firewood to our booking and Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of it. Plus, the little bit of 4WD driving required to enter the site added an extra layer of fun to the experience! If this was in middle of year, I would already made another booking :) 10/10!!

From the very first interaction, Kathryn and Phil set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Their warm and thoughtful communication included a delightful surprise: they asked for my preferred type of bread. What arrived was the best gluten-free bread I have ever tasted—fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. The site itself was pure magic. I stayed during the night of the last full moon of 2025, and the peacefulness of the surroundings was almost otherworldly. The clawfoot bathtub under the stars was a highlight—soaking in warm water while gazing at the moonlit sky felt like a dream come true. To top it all off, I enjoyed my first viewing of Love Actually for 2025 on a big screen set up in the bush. Watching a classic film in such a unique setting added a cozy, cinematic touch to an already enchanting evening. Mystic Adventures is more than a campsite—it’s an experience crafted with heart and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, a touch of luxury, and unforgettable memories.

What a spot! Peter and Doris have one of the best Hipcamps I have stayed at. I was on a solo mission, and it met my requirements perfectly. Peaceful and secluded, but also super convenient being just under an hour from Brisbane City. A float in dam is the best to start, and finish, your day. You’ll also share the space with plenty of amazing bird life, including a few beautiful Kingfishers. I look forward to bringing back a few mates for a weekend away.

We loved camping at Gleneden! Rohan and his wife were very welcoming, invited us to watch the cows being milked, helped collect eggs from the chickens and saw the pig and geese getting fed. Our campsite was located right next to their two rams so our toddler woke up every morning shouting SHEEP. The creek was also great for the kids for scrambling on the rocks and playing. Would definitely go back again.

Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions. You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules.
