Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Things to do and see: The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality. Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders. Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Selecting a site will show more accurate photos of that particular location instead of every photo found here. Must be over 18 to book, under 18’s need to be accompanied by an adult over 18. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. We absolutely loved staying at the creek sites at corie vale... the drive down was definitely 4wd only.. but very worth it when you get there.. the creek was great to cool off and even went rock hopping and found a lovely waterfall and swim hole... tony was such a lovely host and very welcoming with his beautiful doggo.. will definitely be coming back to this beautiful part of the world thats not too far from home

The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access. Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. The collection includes Uniforms, Badges & patches, historical records & photographs and over 6 Historic Fire Engine Vehicles, Apparatus, Models & Collectibles. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. We are just 3 mins from local shops, McDonald's, KFC. This is the perfect spot for those who want to wind down and escape the hustle and bustle. Come and relax at our flat, peaceful 5 acre hobby farm. Most animals wander around example the sheep, ducks and chooks, pig. So tough plastic boxes are great to hide your food items. We have a mini pig (Splat) that has her own paddock but she likes to socialise. I'm waiting for fencer to get her back in her paddock again. She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. I'm sure you will see other campers too and set up where ever you like. Just close gates again and I will meet you later if we are out. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children. We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day. You drive through the grid and a peace descends as you take in the sights of this lush horse property. Situated in the Hinterland between Maleny and Kenilworth, the property is approx. 60 acres of timbered pasture, with the Mary River as the boundary. There is plenty of natural bushland and the river to explore or for quiet contemplation listening to the sounds of cows, sheep, goats and chickens in the distance for those who wish to spend a quieter time with us. Behind us is the Bellthorpe Range for 4WD, bushwalking, mountain biking, or riding your own horse. There's fishing under the Conondale Bridge, 10 minutes away and if you want to drive a little further north on your way to Kenilworth, there's a variety of State Forests and National Parks to enjoy. Kenilworth hosts quite a lot of festivals, including the Kenilworth Rodeo, so it's country living at it's best. In the opposite direction is Maleny, a trendy town, with lots of day visitors and coffee shops up and down the street. If you come in May, there's the Maleny Show and there's always historic places to visit along the escarpment with magnificent views down to the Coast. Only an hour north west from Brisbane, just over half an hour north from Ipswich. We now have toilets. A semi self contained caravan is coming soon, hopefully ready by the Christmas holidays. We purchased our block as a rural escape. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water. Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed). Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole. A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area. 15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery). 20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun. Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike. GreyGum is a shady, lush and beautiful property with private access straight to Kenilworth state forestry trails (motorbikes and vehicles expected). To drive to camping space, you will need 4 wheel drive. In extreme weather events, we are unable to host. Noise must be kept to a minimum from 10.30 pm. Dogs are allowed, on leash at all times. All rubbish and mess must be taken with you. There are 2, spacious horse yards available, which can be split to 4 if you bring your own piggy tails and electric tape/equipment. If yards filled, there is space to set up your own pens. Horses must respect fencing. Trail rides, horse/ pony riding lessons (on our horses) and guided trails on your own horses are available if you need a guide through the extensive trails in the state forest. We are a small family run business and we live on the property. Please be respectful of us and we will happily share our beautiful property with you. Entrance to camp sight is on the KENILWORTH side of Beattie Creek, at the driveway with the GREEN BIKE. Please do not go up the steep drive on the Imbil side of Beattie creek. This drive is extremely difficult to get up with a float. ****Please note, camping underneath trees on the property at your own risk. During storms and strong winds, please take note of the danger that comes with falling trees and branches. Hosts are liable if accidents occur****
