Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland.
We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy.
Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale.
We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required.
Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property.
Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed.
Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water.
During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out.
Things to do and see:
The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality.
Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders.
Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month.
All sites are unpowered. Generators are welcome between 7am and 9pm.

My 100 acre grassland property is mostly natural ironbark grassland, bounded by the Condamine River to the east and the sealed Cullendore Road to the west. * MIDCAMP.. 7 level sites approximatly 200 meters up from the Comdamine River, and overlooking (and access to) the rivercamp, surrounded by mature "Iron Bark" trees and grassland, Plus several more dispersed sites, suitable for all types of camping from Vans to Tents.
This area also includes a small number of powered sites
* TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp, overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles
*Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own.
*HOT Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites
*Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt.

There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond.
We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

* Vehicles must stay on the designated road and cannot drive down to the boat ramp.
* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.

We have limited usage on Tamrookum Creek road per day and pay a levy per vehicle. We also offer people with 4WD vehicles to just come out for a day’s drive 7am to 6pm to access the 4WD tracks. Vehicles pay $55 weekend and PH or $45 mid-week for a day visit no camping.
Camping: We have 2 camping areas for 2WD and caravan access Opposite Lock A to H sites and the 14's A to E sites. Our check in time is from 7am and check out time the following day before 6pm
All other sites are 4WD access. These are not advertised on this platform. As this is an instant payment platform, we do consider credits for valid reasons unable to arrive but must be discussed.
Property: A 695-acre council registered tourist back-to-basic bush camping and 4WD park located in the picturesque Scenic Rim region just over an hour drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Perfect for 4WD enthusiasts, bushwalkers, mountain bikers, and anyone that just wants to get back to nature.

Being in a rural area we have strict guidelines for campfires. We follow all Local Government guidelines and the QFS. No blazing fires, all fires to be extinguished at night, no coals or ash to be left under trees or on the grass. We will pick up each morning coals and ash if required.

Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property.
Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed.
Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water.
During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out.

We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Stunning, well kept 133 Acre property with elevated country views, wicked sunsets and beautiful night skies ! We can assure you of a quiet stay with no crowds - we love this place and we're sure you will too. There's plenty of room for Caravans, RV's and Camping. We welcome Aeroplanes too !
Our silo bar is a great place to gather at sunsets and also doubles as a camp kitchen. We have 7 fire pits on the property including 2 in our remote area that is designed for fully self sufficient caravans.
Campers have access to our ammenities (2 toilets and a shower) which are always kept very clean. Easy access for all vehicles.
Taking out 2nd place for Glamping in Australia a couple of years ago - it's completely unique and perfect for couples all year round!
We have a 400 mtr grass airstrip and welcome fly-in visitors (Reference OzRunways “YFIG”). Strictly by arrangement.

There is also good spots for hiking nearby.
Site is beautifully situated on the top of a mountain within our property surrounded by national park. There's running hot water showers, a great dam to swim in, portable toilets.

Wonderful stay at the farm. Well manicured site, grassy no prickles or cow poo, level. we had 3 small vans stay on this site. Nice river access from site, although currently water levels not to high or flowing much. There was a small deep pocket of clean water we were able to swim in. Waterfalls not flowing currently but still lovely to walk up to. About 400m from our site. Friendly visit from cows and horses onsite. Lovely stay.

Bloody ripper little farm stay. Ben the host is a seriously lovely and helpful guy with nothing too hard. He was great with the kids, bringing the new little piglet around to all the sites for them to see and cuddle.
The facilities were great too with clean shower and toilets as well as a great play room with heaps of games. The kids also loved the spa!!

We had a quick weekend getaway with friends to Savvy creek Farms. It was well kept and had great facilities for our family needs. Ben, the host, was so welcoming and generous. The kids had room to explore and their highlights were the piglets and the free roaming chickens. Our camp fire flats location was perfectly groomed with water and power easy accessible. The facilities were very clean! We loved our stay. Thank you so much Ben!

This site is pretty good—it has power and water, and it’s easy to get to. Plus, the host, Ben, was dead set amazing. Our grandson had a blast nursing a baby pig, feeding the sheep and goats and just generally having a good time.
