Facilities include equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, benchtop convection oven, kettle, toaster and all cooking utensils as well as plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. Bathroom with hot shower and a bathtub for parents with children. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property.
Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. Bring your own firewood or buy along the road nearby.
Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range!
When you book you are booking the entire camp facility. It is yours to enjoy, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest.
Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsite. It's best to arrive before sunset to select your camp spot and set up and to enjoy the sunset views!

We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings.
To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

No drinking water and no shower facilities, but you may use the tap and hose to rinse off (or enjoy an open-air shower if you aren’t too bashful!)
Conondale is a quiet country town and given we are positioned quite close to the town itself, we respectfully ask that all music and loud noise be cut off by 10pm.

Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

RUBBISH - No rubbish bins are available on this site. ALL Rubbish and scraps must be removed when you depart. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule and you MUST take ALL rubbish with you when you leave. No food scraps to be left behind.
WIFI: Available upon request for wifi calling and general internet (not suitable for streaming/movies).
We request that you leave this beautiful, unique campsite in the same condition as when you arrived for the continued benefit of other campers and respecting that this is part of our property and home.
This campsite is NOT a shared campsite - singular bookings only.
AWD and 4WD is recommended however 2WD is suitable for this site.
We ask that all care is taken when driving into and on the campsite parkland - like grass.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Located just 20 minutes to both Maleny and Kenilworth, ‘Peace on Palamino’ offers the ultimate lifestyle escape on the banks of the Mary River. Enjoy one of the many hikes in the local area before returning to camp for a swim with your own private river access. The corner store and petrol station are a short stroll from home for any last minute essentials, however on your own 3 acres you can embrace the natural splendour of this escape.
Kayaks are included in your stay, as well as a ping pong table. A shared toilet, PowerPoints (for device charging), and mini fridge are available inside. Firewood can be collected on the property, or purchased locally.
No drinking water and no shower facilities, but you may use the tap and hose to rinse off (or enjoy an open-air shower if you aren’t too bashful!)
Conondale is a quiet country town and given we are positioned quite close to the town itself, we respectfully ask that all music and loud noise be cut off by 10pm.

4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here.
We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

A very peaceful park, beautifully presented with manicured lawns, very clean and tidy, flat and the pool was an extra bonus for the hot weather. Nothing like taking a dip in a Pool surrounded by pine trees and mountains! The memorial to our Veterans extra special also surrounding the dam. Lisa was so welcoming and accommodating to any question. Loved it so much we have booked 9N at Christmas 2026.

We had a great time camping at habitat. It was a last min booking, with me, my partner and daughter. As soon as we arrived we were greeting by kangaroos, iguanas, and baby ducklings. It was beautiful. Also we were lucky enough to see a sring ray in the water when we were paddling. Would defo stay again :)

Being able to camp within 2 meters of the water was so awesome, the campsite was better than we had expected.
The weather was a bit gloomy for the start of the trip and had essentially created a creek around our set up but it was still possible to get around easy, (ground mat was a lifesaver.)
Unfortunately not much luck with fish, but we did get multiple mud crabs each day so definitely bring some pots.
The addition of having firewood on site was a huge bonus too. Even despite being wet, the wood burnt super well and we could have nice coals almost all night.
We really wish we could’ve stayed longer, you keep forgetting you’re in national park and the only people I ever saw were on boats.
Truly a gem so close to home.

If you want a nice cool breeze and a magic view Dingo Ridge is it! There are other lovely camp sites along the fresh water creek and we even spied a platypus.
Warren and his father are wonderful hosts and couldn’t make us feel more welcome, we really look forward to coming back in the near future and thanks again for a great stay!

Everything was just right. Not too jammed in. Mostly level site. Pool and other facilities are in excellent condition.
I have a need to visit the Sunshine Coast on a regular basis and this makes a great base camp.

Glenns directions were clear and the secluded spot on the river was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time at this spot and will visit again. Our 2wd was ok, yet I wouldn't try in wet weather given the track to get to the spot. Well worth it when you set up camp though.

The staff are very kind and helpful. The pool area is beautiful clean and well looked after, such a nice place to relax.
Highly recommend the wild dolphin feeding it was a dream come true.

Awesome spot with great facilities, whether you’re in a tent or in a van. The eco brewery offers a great variety of meals and drinks. Family friendly, the wild life experience was amazing with kangaroos camping only meters away along with the odd goanna paying their morning visit! Crystal clean lake was definitely well use . Would definitely stay again.

Great camping site, if you have the wrong blood type the mosquitoes will love you depending on the weather, but just take the necessary steps to protect yourself, it was a small price to pay for the not so fortunate in our crew ,,
