An absolute dream camping spot. Quiet, beautiful, spacious and Paul is an excellent host. Well thought out layout of all the different sites. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a peaceful place to get away from the rest of the world.

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. I camped at Site 4. It was a peaceful location near the creek. I felt secluded and safe. The bird life was amazing! I loved this camp and will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

We spent 2 nights at Campsite 6 and had a lovely time. Paul was a great host and the toilet facilities were great. Private site near the waterhole. Would recommend.

Great little getaway

Had a lovely few days there. Nice and relaxing. Was great that our dog didnt need to be constantly on a leash. Loved the 11am check in time too as most places these days are a 2pm check in. Great little getaway. Zero phone reception which was exactly what we needed.

On arriving at Bell Bird Lodge you are immediately put at ease, the camp map which is available at the entrance is clear and concise. The natural beauty of the bush is reassuring that you are entering an untouched environment. The camp site is large, level, clean and private. An abundance of birdlife surrounds and waking the following morning to birdsong and the wind in the trees high above was a fabulous way to start your morning. Only a short drive to the cleanest camp site toilet we have ever experienced was pure joy! I was fortunate to take the opportunity to visit Jeannie the Reiki master who is onsite, I placed myself completely in her hands with absolute trust. We will definitely come back to Bell Bird Lodge in the not to distant future.

Bellbird Lodge in Amamoor State Forest was a wonderful experience. My host Paul was inspiring, polite, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The rate was affordable, and the place was clean, tidy, peaceful, and private. It offered easy access to hiking tracks, was centrally located for visiting other parks and forests, and was completely dog-friendly, with no issues during my stay with my large dog.

A wonderfully quiet and serene place to camp at. Very private with fantastic fauna and foliage as well as being a great spot to spend hours stargazing. Quite confident I will return there before long. The host, Paul, is a very nice bloke as well, I really enjoyed spending my three nights there.

Site 4 was unbelievably private and lush, right in front of the creek with an amazing vista and incredible bird watching potential if you know what you're looking (and hearing) for. Paul was an exceptional host, toilets were clean, drinking water fresh and plenty of firewood on hand.

Amazing place to camp if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful. Paul was very accommodating and friendly. Campsite 6 offers plenty of privacy and is very close to the waterhole. The toilet was very clean, and the property was easy to find using Google Maps. There is a short section of unsealed road, but it was very accessible.

One of the best if not the best hipcamp we've ever stayed at. Private, close to the creek and nice soft ground (nothing wears you down than pitching on rocks right!). It was so relaxing exactly what we needed. Paul is a welcoming host and very friendly. We would love to come back. Thanks Paul.

We stayed at site 2 at Paul’s camp! It was amazing right on the creek, quiet and peaceful. We were traveling with two kelpies and we absolutely loved that we could have them off lead at all times allowing them to run around this alone was a 10/10 for us. Paul was so helpful from the get go, we would stay her over and over again. We also had the opportunity to take part in the yoga offered on a Sunday morning by Jean, this was the cherry on top Jean was so wonderful and patient as we had never done it before, this really made the the whole experience magical. Thankyou once again for hosting us paul we will be recommending and returning when we can ✨💛

Creekside Camping Site 5

We camped at campsite 5 on Paul’s property. Fantastic, remote location, the site itself was clean, private and a grassed area. Easily accommodated our camp trailer and had plenty of room. There was only a couple of groups out there and hardly saw anyone. As others have said the eco toilet was fantastic, clean, no smell and does the job. There is about 15ks of dirt road into property with a few pot holes along the way, no problem for us but anyone with a low car or if wet might be a bit of a problem. Paul is a great bloke and we will definitely be back at some stage. Thanks for Having us.

Best hipcamp we've been to!

Our favourite camping spot. Paul has put a huge amount of effort into ensuring campers have the best possible experience. Definitely worth the extra money we paid for the secluded site, abundance of wildlife, incredible facilities and just a beautiful piece of paradise to be able to stay in for the weekend. This place will be our go to from now on as it ticks all of the boxes and we really couldn't fault it.

It was a beautifully quiet and relaxing weekend at Paul's property. We booked site 4 and it was perfect and well maintained. Theres no reception but to be honest we absolutely loved that. We indulged in cooking food, wine and birdwatching. The birdlife is incredble there. I listed 19 species but there was definitely more. Would recommend!

What a lovely night we spent at Pauls place. Great host and such a nice bloke. The sound of the creek running alongside was so relaxing. The bird life was amazing. Lost count of the different species. Camp 2 was grassed and nice and close to the toilet which was clean and well maintained. We will be back. Thanks for having us Paul!

Lovely quiet camp ground, sites were few and a decent way apart. Loved having campfires and access to the creek. The toilet facilities were also perfect, super clean. There are lots of amenities, and Paul was very helpful and accommodating.

What a lovely patch of land in a beautiful semi remote valley. The swimming hole is a winner and it's a bonus to have such a comfortable, clean toilet on a hipcamp.
