Directions into our Property-
Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation.
Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples.
Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore.
The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.

We ask that you please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.

Directions into our Property-
Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.

Habitat Noosa Everglades EcoCamp is a truly unique camping and glamping destination, located just 25 minutes from Noosa and set across 65 acres of protected National Park on the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba.
This is an ideal spot for campers who want to immerse themselves in nature while still enjoying great facilities and memorable experiences. Wake to birdsong, watch kangaroos grazing nearby, and spend your days exploring one of Queensland’s most pristine landscapes.
Guests can enjoy a wide range of waterfront activities, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, wave skis and tinnie hire, or stay on land with a game of frisbee golf set among bushland. Direct access to Great Sandy National Park means there are walking trails of varying lengths, offering opportunities to spot wildlife and learn about the rich natural and cultural history of the region.
Habitat Noosa is also the gateway to Australia’s only Everglades system, where tea-tree-infused waterways and ancient landscapes create a calm, unforgettable experience. Daily guided Everglades tours depart from the eco camp.
After a day of exploring, relax at CootharaBAR & Bistro, serving dishes inspired by fresh local produce, or enjoy a drink from our onsite micro-brewery, with a rotating selection of beers brewed right here.

Highly recommend Karrajong Camp. Tan and Kevin are lovely hosts, directions were on point and what you see is what you get.
We had the whole meadow (with beautiful lush grass) to ourselves, when you book it, it’s all yours. Our dog absolutely loved it too.
The creek was easily accessible and flowing which made for a fantastic afternoon dip.
Quality long burning wood fire wood is available for $15 per tub (02/2026) and fire pits available at each camp site.
We will be back for sure!

Lots of shade, well maintained sites, lush grass and the creek was lovely to cool off in.
Neil was hospitable and great to deal with. I recommend this camp and will go again.

Michelle was a fantastic host, delivering fresh baked bread in the morning and even bringing some baby puppies for a visit and a chat. Plenty of space to spread out. There is a short walk to the creek but felt like we had the place to ourselves when there. Water was deep enough for a swim and a kayak at the time.

Being able to camp within 2 meters of the water was so awesome, the campsite was better than we had expected.
The weather was a bit gloomy for the start of the trip and had essentially created a creek around our set up but it was still possible to get around easy, (ground mat was a lifesaver.)
Unfortunately not much luck with fish, but we did get multiple mud crabs each day so definitely bring some pots.
The addition of having firewood on site was a huge bonus too. Even despite being wet, the wood burnt super well and we could have nice coals almost all night.
We really wish we could’ve stayed longer, you keep forgetting you’re in national park and the only people I ever saw were on boats.
Truly a gem so close to home.
