Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Kitchenette with the essentials. Excellent outdoor area with BBQ, sink and bench space. Comfortable seating. Nice fire pit. Sarah and Ronnie were amazing hosts and we will be back again.

We loved our stay. The beach was so close and beautiful. Listening to the waves crash in. It is amazing to see the turtle tracks during the day along the beach after our night at the turtle centre and it was only a short walk to the centre. A very peaceful and restful stay. Unfortunately, not all areas are vape/smoke free, this was the only let down for us.

It was a beautiful and peaceful spot for a calming rest. Definitely would recommend. But also strongly suggest you take lots of repellent!! The midgies were pretty full on in the evenings and early morning until the breeze blew them all away!
