The iconic Nelligen Pub only a 10-15 min drive away is a local favourite for hearty meals, pizzas and a great range of tap beers, with takeaway available if you prefer to enjoy dinner back at your campfire. Just nearby, Riverside Café is ideal for fresh coffee, breakfast or a casual lunch in a peaceful riverside setting.
The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.
Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper).
This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day.

100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife.
Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks.
If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider.
We only have five campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 300m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend and the Crossing sites are only suitable for 4x4's and off-road vans / trailers.

We have eight beautiful, peaceful, spacious, riverfront, campsites ready for our guests. Just a short drive to the best south coast beaches of Broulee and Tomakin. Located halfway between Batemans Bay and Moruya, and 5km from Mogo. Great for shopping, eateries and Mogo Zoo. You can even frequently hear animals from our campsites!
Campers need to bring everything and remove everything, leaving no trace. Bring your own supply of water. Firewood can be purchased by the wheelbarrow load, please add to your booking if required. Otherwise, BYO firewood.
We have nine portaloo's available for use, they are situated throughout the property.
Dogs are welcome if controlled at all times and do not bark or chase livestock. We have two Border Collies, so we are dog friendly for friendly well-behaved dogs.

1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property (which we strongly believe should be permitted.
2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. FREE FIREWOOD is available on site.
3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access.
4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

The land is uniquely located between Pigeon House, Byangee Walls, and The Castle and The Budawang Wilderness Area, so makes a fantastic basecamp for those wanting to explore this beautiful part of the Morton National Park.
The property is ideal for those keen on paddling, fishing, walking, listening to the many bird species, or simply absorbing the beautiful energy of this natural retreat.
Please be advised that it is approximately 45mins to an hour to the entrance of the access rd, from either Milton, the beginning of Wheelbarrow rd or Monkey Mountain rd. It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination
Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf.
There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed.
To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is.
To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here.
To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley.
For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui.
For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.

Brooman rests approximately half way between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the fresh water section of the Clyde River. The property stretches south on both sides of the river from the Old Sawmill Town located at its northern end.
Brooman is a working farm and encompasses lots of beautiful spaces, restored old buildings, two small mountains, fertile river flats, native forests, grasslands, deep water holes, tree covered rapid sections of river and sweeping views.
Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range.
The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. Some of the best restaurants and bars on the coast are less than 40 minutes drive at Milton and Mollymook.

The camp is situated on Stony Creek, connected to Burrill Lake, on 58 acres of farmland. The property is private and suitable for self-sufficient campers only; you must provide your own toilet and take all rubbish with you.
Sites are large enough for groups, so please let us know if you are traveling with more than 2 adults, as an additional per-adult charge applies.
Access & Equipment
The site is accessible by 2WD, but 4WD is recommended if you are towing or if there has been recent rain. Please note that site assignments may be adjusted following rain due to accessibility.
We offer direct river access for fishing, swimming, kayaking, SUPs, or canoeing. There is also a spot to launch a small tinny—please let us know if you wish to do so and we can show you the location. You can enjoy a leisurely paddle around Burrill Lake or head toward the Dolphin Point beach area, though there are many spots on the lake much closer for a swim.
Amenities & Supplies
An IGA supermarket, bottle shop, bakery, and fish and chip shop are accessible via the lake at the Burrill Lake bridge.
Fire pits are provided (when no fire restrictions are in place). Please do not cut down any trees on the property; firewood can be purchased.
Property Rules
• Access: Water access is available from each campsite. Please remain in your designated camp area and avoid walking or driving around the rest of the property.
• Privacy: The properties across the river are private and are not to be accessed.
• Pets: This is a working farm. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss if your pet is suitable. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Off-leash areas are available in nearby Milton, Mollymook, and Narrawallee.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. Gina and Shawn made us feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The campsite was well maintained, and the compost toilet was exceptionally clean, which we really appreciated. The fresh eggs were delicious and such a lovely touch. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our stay perfect. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience!

It was our second time staying at Glennbrooke River Camp, and it certainly won’t be our last. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing spot right on the river.
The hosts are friendly, welcoming, and easygoing. We were able to arrange a later checkout, giving our tent time to dry before packing up and my partner time for a morning ride. Brooke also organised a generous trailer load of perfectly dry firewood, making for a cosy winter evening spent around the fire, stargazing, and cooking over the flames.
We highly recommend Glennbrooke River Camp for anyone looking to unwind in nature. It’s also close to the mountain bike trails, and we topped off our stay with lunch and a beer at Tilba Brewery and Winery. A fantastic getaway!

Stayed at Millingandi Station with my miniature dachshunds and it was everything we needed. The flat grassy paddocks are huge and safe — perfect for leash walks with farm smells (sheep, horses, kangaroos everywhere). We spent hours by the tidal creek launching the kayak/SUP and just watching the water. Pelicans Rest riverside sites are next-level peaceful.
Jodie and Brett are legends — warm, quick to reply, sorted firewood instantly, and the fresh oysters + farm eggs from the property were ridiculous (in the best way). The veggie/herb garden is a beautiful touch. Campfires under the stars, zero stress, and only minutes to Merimbula or Pambula beaches and shops.
As the founder of Sausage Therapy, this place felt like an extension of the work I do — land, water, animals, and stillness doing the healing. My dogs thrived here. My nervous system finally exhaled.
If you have dogs, love the water, or just want proper space and peace on the Sapphire Coast, book it. I’ll be back. 5 stars without hesitation.

Beautiful Mystery bay down the road.
Lovely Colin greeted us and checked in on us a few times, gave us some suggestions of places to go.
We were there in June (site9) in the middle and had the whole place to ourselves which was nice.
There is a road running along the camp but we found the local traffic and minimal.
Didn’t disturb us at night at all.

This was a last minute booking heading to Mogo for some MTB riding over 3 days and we were pleasantly surprised by the openess and flat grassed areas in such a quiet and serene environment. Large areas to yourself and wildlife around to enjoy, enough shade to relax if it’s hot and campfires and portable toilets scattered around. Beautiful location and Lisa was very friendly and easy going! Thankyou for having us!

We visited this hipcamp in winter (June). With our dog.
I’m going to say there would be a slightly different vibe in Summer (not better or worse).
The owner Kerren, came down with our firewood and had a chat, when we arrived.
We based ourselves here and did a few day trips.
The beaches around are beautiful and Berry is a must visit.
We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

Where to go
Illawara
On the Illawara Coast, Shellharbour is home to the National Surfing Reserve of Killalea, and the area is also a favourite of snorkellers and divers who can explore the many shipwrecks and marine life-filled underwater cliffs. Beachfront and just a short walk from the centre, various tourist parks offer a range of accommodation including powered sites, ensuite cabins, and self-contained beachside cottages. A little farther south, Killalea State Park has a secluded camping area in the park’s grassy meadows with access to facilities including toilets, hot showers, and an undercover electric barbecue area.
Shoalhaven Coast
Another favourite among surfers and divers, the Shoalhaven Coast is also known as a wine-growing region and for the powder-white sands, crystalline waters, and whale- and dolphin-spotting opportunities of Jervis Bay. Within Booderee National Park at Jervis Bay, the Cave Beach camping area offers some of Australia’s best secluded beach camping with access to cold showers and barbecues. Farther south, beachfront caravan sites and campgrounds in Murramarang National Park let you can camp alongside resident kangaroos.
Eurobodalla Coast
The Eurobodalla Coast is home to the seaside town of Batemans Bay, famed for its fresh seafood, particularly oysters, as well as the Clyde River National Park, where you can go bushwalking, kayaking, and fishing. Just south of town, Batemans Bay holiday parks offer villas as well as powered sites with access to laundry facilities and BBQ areas. Farther south, Tuross Head is perched on a headland between two tidal lakes, making it the perfect spot for kayaking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Look out for peaceful holiday units, plus powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites with ocean views and easy access to the beach and lake.
Sapphire Coast
At the southern end of the NSW coast, the tranquil Sapphire Coast is home to the small town of Eden, one of the best places in Australia to spot humpback whales on their annual migration from May through September. Just outside town, waterfront holiday parks offer large powered and unpowered caravan sites, as well as a range of cabins, with access to camp kitchens. Forty minutes north, rustic Hobart Beach Campground in Bournda National Park has unpowered sites that make the perfect base for swimming, hiking, and exploring nearby secluded beaches.
