Kookaburra is a 20-acre farm located between Ulladulla and Nowra on the NSW South Coast, just under a three-hour drive from Sydney and Canberra. There is an abundance of native wildlife on the property. Australian bass and platypus inhabit the waterways and there is also gold in them too!! The Deua river offers opportunities to swim, go fishing, canoeing, all in pristine crystal clear water. Or just sit by the water and enjoy the bird show. Wedge tail eagles, sea eagles, kookaburra, kingfishers, parrots and owls to name a few of the birds that call Everlong home. The night sky’s are clear and brilliant with stars. Weekend Trip to Everlong

Camp site was great. We had a little creek to ourselves to go for a dip, and the big river was just around the corner (could walk or drive). Saw so much wildlife! Would definitely recommend going for a walk with a spotlight at night time. We saw eels, tawny frogmouth. Canoes are provided to go up the river. Anthony was a great host. We will be back :)

Beautiful decorated and large grounds with an amazing outdoor and magically lit undercover kitchen that easily seats 20. Loved the open air toilets and sinks, even a cold shower was available. Shanti & Sol were very kind and friendly hosts and I highly recommend the first three sites in the bush as they have shade and shelter from the wind.

Greatest place we've camped so far! Hosts were welcoming and attentive. The facilities were great, including the kitchen area and bathroom. It gets full of wildlife at night, including roos and wombats. Only downside (which doesn't hinder the experience) was that the water from the shower was cold. Otherwise, the place was great and the hosts (including their dog) were even greater.

Overall it was a great camp-site. Plenty of area to choose where to pitch your tent. Cows and horse were in close proximity, but not intrusive to the camp-site. Plenty of kookaburras around to see and hear as well as the occasional kangaroo. Dogs loved playing in the nearby creek and there were large open areas for the dogs to roam and explore, with plenty of firewood laying around for you to collect. Particularly liked the fire pit set up with the rocks/stones containing the fire pit. I was a bit worried about how the toilet will be, but I was pleased to see that the toilet was clean and well maintained. Camp-site was also well maintained. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and were very responsive to messages, bringing delicious fresh eggs promptly when we had requested them. Kookaburra was easy to find and get to from Sydney and as per other reviews, it was very quiet and serene. As with most camp-sites and remote areas, the reception was not the best, but devices could still be used (if required). We all had a great time and would definitely consider returning to this camp-site. Considering the reasonable cost of booking, I would recommend this camp-site!

A quiet, peaceful spot in a large paddock near a creek. Easy and quick access off the A1 with our 9m caravan. The kids enjoyed having the cows and a horse to watch, and it was nice being able to buy free-range eggs from the host. A relaxed place to stop and unwind.

Great location, easily accessible just off the highway (can’t hear any traffic at the site). Can get to Ulladulla and Jarvis Bay in 20 minutes. Stunning scenery. Horses, cows, kangaroos & ducks roaming. Really peaceful and spacious.

Fab spot! Beautiful property with lots of trees and space, and some cows and horses roaming around too! We camped at the Cackle. Lots of different spots to pitch a tent, other camps within eyesight but still felt secluded, accessible with our 2WD, and easy to find following Christine's helpful instructions. And as in the name, lots of Kookaburras around and fun listening to them laugh! Great value!

We loved camping at the Bushman’s Clock at Kookaburra. The creek is gorgeous, and farm animals are friendly (not much of a wildlife though - see it as a pro or con hehe). The toilet was clean. It was easy to find. Everything went very well. Loved the fire pit and the fact that you can buy firewood on the farm!
